- Folks, we have had a lot of rain here lately in the Tennessee Valley. Which means high muddy water conditions, perfect for catfish! When it comes to muddy water, visibility is low, so your best bet to catch them big catfish is to use cut bait! Scent is key. Let's head to the water and catch a bigun! Hope you enjoy! God bless

I love fishing for the exact same reasons this man does. He's a sport fisherman mostly, unless he's keeping some for mama sue. I'm from Georgia. We have rivers like this one, full of monster fish too and a lot of people don't even know it. You never know what you might catch.

Great video as always and a real nice flathead to boot. As for the BnM Silvercats there good rods for the money, I use them for stripers and catfish. The biggest blue I've caught was 50+ on one of them. They handle the big ones real good for the money.

Those were some seriously nice cats! My son and I, personally, we use anywhere from 80 to 100 lb test braid when we catfish. But we're using things like large live bluegill, large shad, and even carps that weigh up to 2 lbs for bait. We live here in Indiana, and we fish mainly in White River. A deep hole in White River around here is anywhere between 8 to 10 ft deep. Yeah. That's a deep hole around here 🤣🤣. But we still manage to hook some dandies anyway.

You guys don't know what current is down there in Tennessee. We have 6-9 mpg current in our rivers up here. They have all been channelized and narrowed to make room for roads and bridges. I invite you up here ANYTIME to come fish our rivers and lakes lol. It's a whole new world. Not talking about the Missouri or the Mississippi but the interior lakes and rivers.
