One of the greatest physicists of all time Einstein and Gandhi admired and respected each other. They also wrote letters to each other.
Einstein praised Mahatma Gandhi's principles of non-violence in his letters and audio recordings addressed to the Indian freedom fighter. The letters were dated back to 1931, even before World War II began.
Excerpts from one of the letters, translated from German, read: "You have shown through your works, that it is possible to succeed without violence even with those who have not discarded the method of violence."

@@raunakmalviya7909 oh you the blind follower of Gandhi fyi Gandhi contribution in freedom struggle was minimal in the words of Clement attley prime minister of Britain it was the Subhash Chandra Bose Azad Hind fauj was responsible for the freedom we got and many others leaders fighters like him were responsible but not Gandhi Gandhi was a loyal servant to the British crown he wrote in many letters and he kept silence when the genocide of Hindus was happening in west bengal and in kerela in direct action day and moplah genocide he said hindus should not get violent and should not keep hatred in their hearts for muslims so what if they kill us (hindus) we would be ushering in a new world of islamic state.

@@raunakmalviya7909 Having read Einstein's letters and his other books, I can say that he was fed with the same BS which a section of congress government wanted others to know about Gandhi and his 'role' in freedom struggle. Obviously back in the day a physicist sitting in Berlin/Princeton would have no access to realtime events in India.
