As for the singing, overall very good - but not quite as this breath of fresh air from Dessay. As for the final high note, this one here really is the stuff of legend in the context of the 21st century.
I can't believe she's moving around so much. I'm not an opera buff and I had never seen her before this but during the humping bit, she is really moving and still hit the pitch directly in the middle!
The great operatic stars combine excellent vocal technique and great acting. Natalie Dessay is simply one of the very best prima donnas of our time. You are correct that she shows great skill in being able to maintain the posture to sing correctly while making those exaggerated physical movements. This is as good as it gets.
