This is just a video game and it can be enjoyed for many different reasons; some people are just interested in experiencing the narrative and may not even like the gameplay. Not that. The feat allows your attacks to ignore the fire resistance of your enemies.
@@peterwright5358- Exactly. Another reason to take it is so that when you douse your enemies with water to make them vulnerable to your lightning, they don't take half damage from your fire damage from the "wet" condition.

Yeah but for Zuko might need to find a way to get at least 1 Ranger level in there as well just for Heavy armour and Simatars
i really wish games would have more clothing that show an elemental thing, like a burning collar or a veil of water
Dumping strength makes sense, but Azula would not dump intelligence
You could wear the circlet of int until the pyro quickness hat becomes available but this build is already so MAD you have to dump it unfortunately

Gameplay wise you really don’t need it
Yeah, you could take intelligence and just have average charisma, the same way that Astarion has average charisma.
In the sense that, you act/seem very charismatic, but since you're not fooling anyone with it, then you don't have to take those charisma points.
Not good for the class build in this case, but just wanted to point out that interesting distinction of "charisma"

Yeah, I agree. I never got the idea to combine the sorcerer with monk. It‘s actually a really good fit as monks are a great close combat class without needing armor. You can just simply continue using gear for magic users. Of course you will loose some firepower, but being able to stand your ground when the enemies get close is great
I'm using this on my most recent Durge run and it's insanely fun so far, I was a fool to avoid playing monk for so long!!
They made monk really good in Bg3. Now if we could only get some of that in Dnd 5e
monk is so good in BG3. Larian did a great job balancing all the classes

Not sure about the Wisdom > Intelligence choice. I'd say she's smart but does not have a good instinct. This Wisdom build is more suited to Iroh though (draconic bloodline : "dragon of the West"😉)

On a monk.
Made an Ironman build centered around spamming ranged spells to mimic repulsor blast
1-Sorcerer(storm)(for flight)
8-fighter(eldritch Knight(for spell arsenal&action surge)
3-Rogue(thief)(extra bonus action)
You can substitute some levels in fighter for warlock for the eldritch blast
Sage for background
Great for crowd controlling multiple enemies
Just playing bg3 after wishing list it for a while.

If you’re okay with the character not looking like Azula, I’d also recommend playing as a Zariel Tiefling so you’ve got the Thaumaturgy cantrip. If Azula is anything, she’s intimidating.
I know the stats are probably needed for the build to work but swapping strength and charisma stats would be kinda more fitting for Azula...
Yeah, gotta make the build playable. Someone else mentioned Intelligence should be higher, too. But you gotta choose a couple of dump stats.

I mean i get that shes intimidating, but most of it comes from her position of power and talent as firebender, socially she sucks. But she can hold herself against being dropped from a giant metal drill..

I made a character just like this but she didn't go crazy like Azula. Instead, she just made a deal with a fire demon.
Fr though my favorite character to play. She could cast her defensive spells with quickened spell and then punch everybody the same turn with firey fists! Now I need to recreate her in Baldurs Gate 3 when I get it this summer!

@@Lady_Hiccups on normal play thrus when he passes he will blow up the entirety of your world but in the dark urge play thru when you're saving him from the portal you can chose to instead imagine cutting of his hand... So you do and he floats back into the portal it's speculated that he still explodes just in the other realm so it has no effect on you

Holy crap, I always thought of a pure fire sorcerer build, but this is even better.
I thinks this can be a little better for monk 4 elements but then go wizard and pick out a few spells that make sense for movement speed at least at the beginning it like a small boost to your fire power use the spell feather fall increase movement speed to slow down you speed with jump over place.

Aside from truly connecting to people, which is pretty worthless in her field anyway, she’s an incredibly talented manipulator and warlord, did you see how well she did during the Ba Sing Se plot?

если же красный просит сломать в себя, то играете от полностью красного попила 46, а не в полумеры - поезд как бы уже на следующей станции.
P.s. по допам опять всё красиво. Единственно что, мне думается, что у Воробушка 04, потому что 6 черный у изи из-за 3 красной, а уже 3 окрасняла 4, поэтому для 7 в 2-5 уже не тройка, а он оставил базово жестко.
P.s.s. Как все таки офигенно проверять на черного, а не для вскрытия.
Need a Kyoshi build next
Very multi attribute dependent. Depending on what difficulty you play on, you'll probably have trouble fighting the beefier bosses nearer the end.
Need to level Dex, Wis and Cha, meaning you have to dump Con which leaves you quite squishy.
For sure, we had a more optimized build, but it was sacrificed so the build came closer to the theme of the character.

I didn’t know April is camp NaNo month and while I do not participate in NaNo in any way, somehow this fact boosted my motivation.
Writing wise I want to figure out how exactly I want the plot to go. I have never outlined before and I'm so glad I started doing it as a long time pantser because man...I didn't realise how jumbled my ideas were.
Outlining has really helped me organise everything and quickly catch things that don't work. I have a more clear direction now.
Depending on book 1 word count I might have to turn this duology into a trilogy because there are 4 MC's in book 1 and then 5 MC's in book 2. (For context the books are urban fantasy and mystery genres).
All of them have so much going on as a group and individually. A choice I question however I'm determined to make it work somehow.
Basically my problem is that there are too many side quests that aren’t as tightly to the plot, but it's possible that I can make them that way.
I just need to figure out how to not make it feel contrived.

My current durge playthrough is a sorcerer-monk. It is MAD but I'm having alot of fun blasting people with fire ball, closing the distance then smacking them about CQC

We considered that, but at the end of the day this build requires higher Charisma. And while our builds aren't hyper optimized, we do aim to make them viable.
Gotta love these builds! I only just finished the core content, so im jumping into mods and more fun! Id say 500+ hours is more than my moneys worth lol

If I'm not mistaken Draconic Resilience (+3 AC) doesn't stack with the Unarmored Defence from monk. So I don't see much reason to put any points into wisdom if starting with draconic bloodline

Wouldn’t make more sense for this build to be a way of the elements monk
You really don’t need to multiclass sorcerer. Just take the Druid magic initiate feat and take produce flame if you want a ranged fire spell (produce flame). You’ll hit more consistently since you aren’t speccing into charisma. Draconic resilience will be obsolete once you spec higher into wisdom (above 16/17 wisdom) since your ac bonuses don’t stack, the game just picks whatever formula has the highest value. Since you can start with 17 and 16 in both wisdom and dex you don’t need draconic resilience and instead could just take another subclass for more benefits like wild magic’s tides of chaos or the flight from storm sorc.
I think he was going a more role-playing route less than a min maxing one but you have a good point
@@bret_hikes7397 it’s still unnecessary and won’t really do anything mechanically so having it just makes you weaker for no reason. He did go higher into sorc for lighting bolt and stuff.

Um, elemental adept... Always make sure you get feats before Ability scores. A good/synergistic feat is always better than just a +1.
Man I wish Larion made a Pathfinder 2e game instead, Pathfinder has a literally bending class that would be insane to play but D&D is just so lacking. BG3 is an amazing game because of the developers, the system is ok. Playing as Azula or Zuko in a Larion PF 2e game would be godly.
