      That's a tough question to answer! I think it is a multi-sided approach that the local government and community have to come together on.

    I moved here 10 months ago after living in Tampa Florida for 23 years. I am shocked at the contrast in homelessness and amount to litter. It is absolutely terrible. I settled in Ridgefield to get away from it all. The moment it arrives here, I'll be moving.

      I am sorry to hear that! Overall, I think the problem here needs to be addressed, but it's really only an issue in the city center, definitely not the suburbs

      I'm glad you moved out of Florida. I used to live in Tampa, which was a cool city, but overall, the state is terrible.

    Agreed on the tiny home communities being preferable to homeless camps. Unfortunately you have to overcome a lot of NIMBY (not in my backyard) sentiment to get them built.

      Yes! It's so tough because honestly, I don't know anyone who would be okay with that truly in their backyard :) If I've learned anything in this career, it's that there are ALWAYS opposing interests in any real estate based situation, and it's not always the case that one is bad and one is good...
