It's up a bit late, but it's here! What your top 3 most anticipated new releases this month? It's hard to pick, but I'd say Peking Duck and Cover, A Cup of Flour A Pinch of Death, and A Very Woodsy Murder. 📚
Amy: If you want more B&B mysteries, I highly recommend Mary Daheim's cozy series. The series features cousins Judith and Renee, who solve murders in and around the B&B business. The stories are zany, off the wall, and so much fun. Daheim also wrote the Emma Lord mysteries set in Seattle, centering on a newspaper, The Alpine Advocate, and its quirky owner, Emma Lord. I love those books mostly.
I love the Isabel Dalhousie series! They’re set in Edinburgh and they’re just gentle and fun. The author also writes the Number 1 Ladies Detective Agency series.
I went and picked up the first book in a few of the series, to be prepared when the new ones come out. I chose Pattern of Murder, Body in the Bookstore, and Murderous Mummy as my series to start.
So many new series this month. I'm excited for caos at the bookshop, and summer's end. Definitely looking up some of these new ones to order. Gonna be a good month.
It's Elementary should be a good book because the author is a former special ed teacher. I've read books 1-9 from the A M Smith series you mentioned and enjoyed them. Katie Siegel's book sounds good and I'm getting book 3 from Valerie Burns (oh I would like a few others also LOL!) Happy July Reading! 📚📚
I'm looking forward to Dead, White and Blue, Peking Duck and Cover, A Cup of Flour, and A Pinch of Death. You successfully influenced me to read Sniffing Out Murder and I'm loving it. Valerie Burns writing style really works for me.
I have "Puzzle Me a Murder" on the list and I still need to start the Noodle Shop Mystery at some point, and "It’s Elementary" sounded kind of fun even though there's a kid in it, not one for children in cozies. I like the idea of seeing something off in the dark. So many books...
My most anticipated new release is Peking Duck and Cover! I am on the hold list at my library. I also would like to start the Tea by the Sea series. I enjoy Valerie Burns writing, but am trying to stick to one of her series at a time. I am almost caught up on her Mystery Bookshop series, then would like to start the Baker Street Series. I have not read the Dalhousie series by Alexander McCall Smith, but am slowly working my way through the No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency series. They are always great reads. As far as buffalo go, I live in Wisconsin which isn't far from North Dakota and we have buffalo farms here. So, maybe it is similar in ND??
Sounds like some great releases. I just started the Finlay Donovan series so I’m hoping to read a couple in this series. I am definitely interested in your top 3 as well. Have a great July!

I think the Tea by the Sea mystery sounds so good
I just finished reading Peking Duck and Cover and it's fantastic! I highly recommend!

Ooh! Thank you so much for the recommendation. I'll look into it 😊
Love the French bull dog that looks like a boston!
Me too! SO cute 💜

I've been meaning to read the Number 1 Ladies Detective Agency series!

Happy Reading! Body in the Bookstore looks SO fun 💙
Murder on Devil"s Pond is interesting, and does have a great cover!
It''s such a beautiful art style! 💙
So many amazing covers and books that sound amazing...wow. Thank you ❤😊
Thank you Veronica! 😊
A Very Woodsy Murder by Ellen Byron sounds good! The Halloween themed mystery as well as I’m eagerly anticipating fall already! 🍂🍁
I agree - It's been summer for less then a month and I'm so ready for fall! 💜🍁
Same! It’s been way too hot so far!

I think so too! I hope you enjoy the new series 💙
I haven’t read any of these series but I am so excited to start getting my hands on them! I love these videos Amy!
The Noodle Shop mystery series is SO good! Thank you Madi 😊💛
Interesting list, added many to my TBR. FYI its pronouncec PEE KING.😊
Thank you! 💚 It's a new-to-me word.
Hi. I just found your channel. I loved your art work along with the description of the books. It really added a layer of fun!
Thank you so much Julie! So glad you enjoy the visuals 💙
Thank you so much for sharing!
Thanks for watching! 😊

That's amazing! I didn't know that about the author. Happy July reading! 💙
Dangerous Infurmation is my most anticipated release - that is my favorite cozy mystery series!!
That's amazing! I hope you love it 💙
The Leslie Langtry series is a lot of fun. And they are all on the shorter side, around 200 pages, so it’s easier to catch up.
I love a short, fast read. That's great 😊
Chaos at the Lazy Bones bookshop sounds great for an autumn read. More books to add to my TBR!
I can't wait for it! Definitely the perfect autumn read 🍁

I'm SO glad you're enjoying Sniffing Out Murder! It's one of my favorites so far this year 💜
@@bookswithamymarie Thanks for the recommendation!🌻💚

Definitely! So many books, so little time right? 😊💜

Buffalo farms? That's so interesting. We definitely don't have those where I live 😊

I hope you love the rest of the Finlay Donovan series! Happy July 💙
@@bookswithamymarie thank you!
A cup of flour…
Do you have to read cozies in order
I'd recommend it 💙 A lot of them can be read as standalone, but you'll miss out on character development and side plots.

I think the Inn with the sober sponsor problem means she gave up drinking and became a nun. Religions clothes are called "habits"
That makes so much more sense! Thank you 😅 I knew that alternative definition for habits somewhere in my brain, but didn't connect the dots.
@@bookswithamymarie haha. That happens to me all the time..
