"I did not hang out with Mike (Bickle) all of the time." So what? "If these things are true" Dr Brown says. IHOPKC has permanently separated from Mike Bickle. What on earth are you talking about when you say "IF these things are true."???? "I was wrong" plain and simple, would have been better to say than "if these things are true. Because we all know, if we believe IHOPKC, that they are indeed true.

Thank you doctor Brown for speaking clarity and reason into this difficult situation.

The prophets if what we were told were farther from truth than Mike. I pointed souls to IHOP myself. My wife and I loved worshiping with IHOP for years. Ive seen many fall in 49 years. This was one of the most hurtful. But Jesus is the love of my life to this day.

Saying that there were no prophetic voices addressing the sexual impropriety within IHOPKC is simply not true. I personally received dreams about it without prior knowledge when I was an attendee years ago.I've also came across with other vusiting prophets who had vision about the burning foundation of the ministry. It's all becoming clear now. But at the time whem we received revelation from the Lord, we have no proper channels to share it because we have no direct access to MB and the senior leadership team.

This was really helpful! Thank you. I didn’t know how to frame this especially because of MB’s years of careful expository and Bible teaching that was so sound. If we are to look for fruit his ministry bares much fruit… so thank you it helped me understand and gave me a way to frame my understanding of MB and IHOPKC. And I understand leaders who sin, we are all broken vessels… I just felt like such an idiot for not even suspecting.

All this is so sad, but not a shock any more. What makes no sense to me with Dr Brown is how much I often respect and agree with from him and then who he mixed with. All that NAR business as well. David Pawson can also mystify me and also had strong links with Mike Bickle. I just can't make any sense at all of some of these things

I wish I had heard more of a broken heart from you instead of what sounded like an excuse, “it just happens”

Both Bob Jones and Paul Cain were also caught up on immoral acts from what I understand. . Mike bickle needs respite. ..

It suggests a lack of discernment.
What appeared to be, would appear was not.
    You were deceived.
I am glad you are speaking out with integrity.
We can all be wrong and need to have the humility to admit it.
God's gifts will be marred coming through a tainted vessel.
His mercy and cleansing is what we need.
Those prophets were also tainted, there is plenty of information regarding that. Their legacy was passed on.

I'm 7:36 into this and I think about the dichotomy of the human nature of believing man. I think of Job. He was the best, yet he had a fault overtake him too. What is a son in the eyes of a father when he is like the father in the parable of the Prodigal son? He's still perfect, isn't he? Yet the father knows he was wrong to leave him like that, right?

Unfortunately, we can all be deceived from time to time. Deceivers are crafty by nature. I do believe that God can use men that sin. If He couldn't, none of us could be instruments in the hand of God. And yes, without a doubt, some people can be disqualified if they do not turn back through faith and repentance. I'm still reading the Psalms every day, and you know who wrote many of them.

Thank you for the Judas analogy fitting in cases like these discussed. Thank you for admitting you could have been wrong, and thank you for admitting you don't know why people often don't recognize these types of realities, though you have a few possible thoughts. I'm guessing that it could feel a bit frustrating that your responses to all this is such a focus when you didn't do this stuff. It does seem an honor though that your heart & mind on the matter - matters to so many. I think there's an opportunity therein to relationally express some steel-indigation on a heart level about how profoundly serious, sick, and harmful this type of stuff in general is (NOT just acute sin mistakes/we are all broken) but high level on-going spiritual manipulation type stuff. "It happens" - yes, for sure - but "it" is a gut wrenching twisted horror for so many in our family of God. Whatever we do feel with/for others helps them more than one might realize to hear. I think any strong compassion you voice will be very powerful even when expressed generally as there have been different examples highlighted recently.
I wrote out 10 points last evening to hopefully help or encourage those who have been duped, scapegoated, or victims of veiled on-going toxic manipulation in the Church (big C). I find that so many of those ones, especially those who 'decode' this tricky stuff to be some of the most noble, freer-seeing, healing presences.
But alas i can not attach them here - lol.
    Blessing to you

I don't if the allegations are true but Everytime I listened to Mike, something felt off and that was way back in 2008 . However I did listen to their worship sessions here and there

@ 9:16 in, am I the only one who sees the admonition to not lay hands on somebody too quickly as saying in effect, don't be too hasty to apprehend someone for something until you are sure something wrong is going on. ?
On the other hand, we don't want to just not say anything or do anything when we notice something or see something, because we don't' just want to go along and be a partaker of their sins, do we? I remember how Elihu wasn't too quick to say anything, but then he didn't become a partaker of the sins of others either, did he?
