    Hey guys! Don't mind Richie talking to our cat in the background hahah Like always, thanks for watching!
    Side Note: Something I meant to discuss was the drill bit, make sure you use Cobalt or Carbide bits and not High Speed Steel(HSS) bits.

    I can never justify such a small knife for the price even as quality as it is it’s barely any material 😂 it’s a third of a chef shouldn’t it be a 1/3 the price 😂 damn Spyderco tax

    • @KnifeModders
      @KnifeModders  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Facts! I absolutely adore this knife, think it's super cute, but that price tag; I just can't do it haha

      @@KnifeModders yeah I’d snag all day at 100 maybe for the size … but even their big series aren’t cheap 😂

    • @ZPositive
      @ZPositive 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My guess is that cost of materials is not all that significant in the overall cost to make this knife. It's the fancy custom parts, like the dimpled pivot, that make this knife more time consuming (and so more expensive) to produce.

    • @caseytyler8326
      @caseytyler8326 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ZPositive ah okay that would make sense but dang.. ZT also did this with their little knife i forget the name but it’s 200 … I know it’s auto but jeez. 🥲😫

    • @ZPositive
      @ZPositive 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@caseytyler8326 maybe another thing that's happening is that other manufacturers are taking it in the shorts on their small knives, so there are a few small ones (there's a small Kershaw Launch if I recall) that are nice and low priced. It's those that alter our perception in the market, and make us want all small knives for small prices.
      Product pricing is a very difficult part of all businesses in my opinion. It's part science, part psychology, part voodoo, and always stressful for manufacturers.
