Revision Spine Surgery for Previous Failed Back Surgery

Revision Spine Surgery : Spondylolisthesis Reduction and TLIF L3/4 & L4/5
This pleasant 64 yrs old lady and her family from Jharkhand contacted and visited me following her endoscopic spine surgery ( Right L4/5 PELD ) which was done in another centre in Dec 2023. She has sero positive RA & CKD ( chronic kidney disease ) .
Her symptoms of back pain, neurogenic claudication, and significant gait abnormality persisted even after her endoscopic spine surgery. Her QOL was quite reduced and had visited a few other centres prior to consulting me.
Following thorough clinical and radiological assessment ( L5 Sacralised, Spondylolisthesis, gross instability and stenosis at L3/4 and L4/5 stenosis and facet arthrosis) was noted.
I offered her Revision Spine Surgery ( Spondy reduction & decompression with TLIF at L3/4, L4/5 ) to alleviate her pain and suffering.
She was mobilised the following day with good symptom reduction after surgery and her Sagittal and Coronal profile improved significantly which brought her smile back.
