      @@lesalenart507 Evolution is not a faith. Faith is defined as "BELIEF without evidence", and there is plenty of evidence for Evolution. All you have to do is look. Even in my lifetime I have seen humans evolve - getting fatter and lasier due to evolution in transport, infrastructure and food production. Evolution in technology has seen children evolve from outgoing outdoor physical explorers to indoor introverted mental implorers. Animal species have been discovered and become extinct and the population explosion has seen interbreeding of races producing offspring very different to just a few generation back. Reptiles have been observed evolving differently after being placed in a different environment to where they and their parents were born due to adapting to different circumstances, and all in just a few generations. The only thing I can think of that has not evolved - is religious belief, but religious extremism has evolved in a very short time. If the bible was true - then why did it have to be amended? why were some of the old testament passages hushed up? - Maybee religion has evolved a very small amount!
      Finaly - "Irreducible complexity" does NOT mean anything. If it does - please explain!

      @@lesalenart507 Two sentences and both are false. Firstly, evolution is observable, testable (measurable), repeatble and falsifiable. The scientific method itself is not faith-based. Science is based on empirical evidence, observation, and testing of hypotheses. It relies on the scientific method to update and refine knowledge based on new evidence. Religion, in contrast, often relies on faith in divine revelation, scripture, or spiritual experiences that cannot be empirically verified. Religious beliefs are typically held even without or despite contrary evidence. Secondly, irreducible complexity (IC) is proven wrong. Its based on the mistaken assumption that evolution relies on improvement of existing functions, totally ignoring how complex adaptations originate from changes in function, and disregarding published research. Evolutionary biologists already published rebuttals and showing how systems actually can evolve. Look up Kitzmiller v. Dover Area School District trial.

    2:15 the first question we need to ask is where the idea of an old earth came from. The earliest example of the idea of millions of years is The Epochs of Nature, 1778. From there, geologists combined this and Darwin to make up the geologic column, assigning names and dates to layers where certain animal forms SHOULD be found. That fairy tale is then used to date rock layers based on the most appropriate fossil found in the layer (ignoring any other animal forms found in that layer; mammals have always been found alongside dinosars and other animal forms).

    • @rizdekd3912
      @rizdekd3912 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      "the first question we need to ask is where the idea of an old earth came from."
      That would likely be from Hutton who based on his observations of rock formations including inconformities concluded that those could not have formed in a few thousands of years. So his theory had nothing to do with evolution.

    • @davidgardner863
      @davidgardner863 11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      They didn’t have radiometric dating in 1778 but we do now and that confirms the age of the earth. Yeah, I know creationists try to deny the accuracy of radiometric dating but that’s only when they try to do it.

    • @BillMurrey
      @BillMurrey 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@davidgardner863 Not quite. It has been pointed out very clearly the three main assumptions involved in all radiometric or radioisotope dating methods. No matter what any opponent claims, these three assumptions remain as being always needed to make the methods appear to work. It doesn’t matter whether for a particular rock unit there appears to be agreement between the different dating methods. All of the methods are based on those fundamental assumptions. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
      These three basic assumptions are:
      1. All the daughter atoms had to be derived by radioactive decay from the parent atoms since the rock unit formed.
      2. There were no additions or subtractions of parent or daughter atoms since the rock unit formed.
      3. The rate of decay had to remain constant since the rock unit formed.
      None of these three assumptions can be proven because there were no scientists there when the rock units formed, nor in the vast majority of time since, to make sure that the daughter atoms we measure today (1) have only come from radioactive decay of parent atoms, (2) have not been contaminated, and (3) the parent atoms had a constant decay rate through all the millions of years.
      Even worse is that these three assumptions are fatally flawed since they cannot be verified. And now because of the RATE (Radioisotopes and Age of the Earth) project, results from numerous lines of investigations have shown that the radioactive decay rates have not been constant. Radiometric dating has been shown to not work on rocks of known age. Yet most secular scientists and other old-earth supporters assume that radiometric dating does work on rocks of unknown age. This is quite an obvious inconsistency. Dr. William Stansfield, in the Science of Evolution states, "It is obvious that radiometric techniques may not be the absolute dating methods that they are claimed to be. Age estimates on a given geological stratum by different radiometric methods are often quite different (sometimes by hundreds of millions of years. There is no absolutely reliable long-term radiological "clock"." You can not scientifically "date" something, it is a guessing game. By tweaking the assumptions (guesses) you have to make you can come up with any range of dates you want.

      @ , The RATE project was conducted by creationist organizations, ( no surprise there) and of course they found flaws in radiometric dating because that’s what they wanted to find. The main reason we should trust God is that He is worthy of our trust. Unlike men, He never lies and never fails to fulfill His promises. “God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?” (Numbers 23:19; Psalm 89:34). Unlike men, He has the power to bring to pass what He plans and purposes to do. Isaiah 14:24 tells us, “The LORD Almighty has sworn, ‘Surely, as I have planned, so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will stand.’” Furthermore, His plans are perfect, holy, and righteous, and He works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His holy purpose (Romans 8:28). If we endeavor to know God through His Word, we will see that He is worthy of our trust, and our trust in Him will grow daily. To know Him is to trust Him.

Been a while since I read the part that talked about the laws of slavery, but it was something along the lines of "all slaves purchased require a license made at the time of purchase, which includes the date. Slaves may only be purchased from certain groups, and you may not own a slave that formerly belonged to your own group (just a guess, but buying and immediately freeing a slave that belongs to your group is probably ok). permanently injuring a slave with so much as a small scar (including branding or emasculation) allows the slave to show the injury to a judge and sue for freedom. Slaves may be owned for a maximum of 7 years (hence why you need a dated receipt to own a slave), at which point the slave can either go free or pierce their ear and become a permanent member of your household."
      again, that's just off the top of my head. It seems like chattel slavery was forbidden, but slaves are allowed to be owned for a limited amount of time as long as they are treated humanely. There's also a lot of parts in the Bible where people referred to as "masters" are strongly encouraged to treat their "servants" with grace, humanity, and dignity. We can learn to trust God as we see how He has proven Himself to be trustworthy in our lives and the lives of others. In 1 Kings 8:56 we read, “Praise be to the LORD, who has given rest to his people Israel just as he promised. Not one word has failed of all the good promises he gave through his servant Moses.” The record of God’s promises is there in His Word for all to see, as is the record of their fulfillment. Historical documents verify those events and speak of God’s faithfulness to His people. Every Christian can give personal testimony to God’s trustworthiness as we see His work in our lives, fulfilling His promises to save our souls and use us for His purposes (Ephesians 2:8-10) and comfort us with the peace that passes all understanding as we run the race He has planned out for us (Philippians 4:6-7; Hebrews 12:1). The more we experience His grace, faithfulness, and goodness, the more we trust Him (Psalm 100:5; Isaiah 25:1).

To attribute that to Satan would make him equal to God.

    Why...Why does everyone conclude that Adam was made on the 6th day? In the six days of creation, EVERYTHING was spoken into existence. And it also says, that he created them male and female, as if he 'spoke' Adam into existence, had a chat, brought some critters to name, and then put him to sleep, so he could extract a rib, form Havah, and yet, scripture does not support this.
    Notice, it was AFTER the Sabbath, and God created (as if by working with his own two hands) a garden. He then formed Adam, from the clay... Does that sound like he 'spoke' Adam into existence?!? He formed Adam out of the clay, and then 'breathed life' into his nostrils. None of that, is congruent with being 'spoken into existence'.
    But, what about Day 6? You might ask. Those were indeed humans, and they were called 'mankind'.. Think about that for a moment, animals and humans are to only mate with their own 'kind'. These were a different type of people. They did not walk with God in the garden, but were what you might consider a bit more primitive when compared to Adam and Havah. The 'watchers' (a class of angels) were with mankind, and taught them about God's laws, and ways. Before long, they had learned to speak a common tongue, to cultivate, to prepare and store food, and they had a society. But, they did not know of the Garden.
    It is from this same group of mankind, that the watchers, who rebelled against God, and lost their first estate and mated with the 'daughters of men'. These fallen angels, corrupted mankind as much as they could. Teaching them sorcery, witchcraft, and other types of forbidden knowledge.
    Here's how we know... Knowing that Kayan slew his brother, he was confronted by God. God punished him to be a vagabond and a wanderer. But Kayan says, 'My punishment is too great, for if they find me THEY will kill me'. And God agrees. Who is this 'THEY' they he fears will kill him? His own mother and father?!? Or could it be the corrupted 'mankind' who has already been known for violence and warfare? But, God agrees, and places a mark, and a curse to anyone who would kill Kayan. So apparently, God is also aware that 'THEY' will kill Kayan.
    Then, Kayan goes east, and settles in the land of Nod. He takes a wife, and she gives him a son... Hold your horses, where did this 'wife' come from, and who had already named the land BEFORE he got there? I've had some say, that Kayan had sex with his mother, and that SHE gave him a son. Not only is that against God's law, but SHE was not cursed to be a vagabond and a wanderer, until Kayan wanted to pop out a kid. And if you think that is a stretch, ask yourself this, who was his son Enoch's wife? Did he call mom, and have her 'stop by' for a visit, so that Kayan could have grandkids? NONE of this makes any sense, if you contend that Adam and Havah, were created on Day 6.
    Genesis is very specific about how Adam was formed out of the earth, and Havah was formed from the rib of Adam. You NEED those 'mankind' people that were created on day 6, for any part of Genesis to make sense. Who did Seth marry? You can't keep having all of these men going back to Havah to pop out some babies. Your only other choice, is to make up a story where Adam and Havah, had many unmentioned daughters, just for the purpose of incestual propagation. And that's simply not how God works.

They want Trump, obviously, which is sickening enough, but they also want to be a political stalking horse for undermining public science education with their brand of pseudoscientific snake oil. "Senate Bill 280 was signed into law by West Virginia's governor Jim Justice on March 22, 2024, according to the Associated Press (March 22, 2024). 'The National Center for Science Education said in a statement that the legislation is 'threatening the integrity of science education in the state's public schools.'
    "The new law provides that '[n]o public school board, school superintendent, or school principal may prohibit a public school classroom teacher from discussing or answering questions from students about scientific theories of how the universe and/or life came to exist.' The bill's lead sponsor, Amy Grady (R-District 4), declared that it would protect the teaching of "intelligent design," according to West Virginia Watch (January 23, 2024), although a federal court found "intelligent design" not to qualify as a scientific theory in Kitzmiller v. Dover in 2005.
    "The Associated Press reported that 'Aubrey Sparks, legal director of the American Civil Liberties Union of West Virginia, said the organization would be watching the law's implementation closely. If the wording of the legislation is ambiguous to her, she said, it's going to be ambiguous for teachers, students and parents, too.'"

Paul reminds us that, it was written long ago, people would not ENTER into His rest, and that there still remains a rest for the people of God to enter into. So that REST (Sabbath) hasn't come yet.
    What also remains to come, is 1,000 years of peace (no war). Sounds similar to THE Sabbath 'day'. 🤔

    This was kinda disappointing. I thought you gonna have some good arguments against evolution, but all i got was, "god said so." If that was true, wouldn't we find evidence of it? If scientists are biased atheist, then take a christian scientist and make him prove otherwise.

      Well, there actually are some good arguments against evolution! First, let me make something clear that should already be clear. Purportedly, evolution required sequences. However, evolutionistic persuasion demands that evolutionists disregard sequences that WERE ABSOLUTELY NEEDED BEFORE evolution could even start. It is like counting from the number 1 to the number 10. You can't skip the sequences . Comparatively, something cosmological HAD TO have happened BEFORE EVOLUTION could even have had a place to start. So the earth ___via the universe ___provided such a place. The problem is: The universe and the earth were SUPPOSEDLY created through the Big Bang. The Big Bang occurred from The Singularity. All time, space, matter and energy is said to have been what constituted the Singularity. Time is NOT a material. Space IS NOT a material. Energy ISN'T material. Yet, we are suppose to believe that these three things were combined with a matter, which IS material? If a person is not biased,it should be obvious that such a thing as The Singularity is actually desperation at denying a god... relatedly , the supernatural. The funny thing is ___however____The Singularity IS supernatural! There is certainly nothing NATURAL about all time, space, matter and energy being combined. In connection, if ALL space was a part of The Singularity _____there would have been NO SPACE within which The Big Bang could have occurred. If ALL TIME was a part of The Singularity ____ there was NEVER A TIME when the Big Bang could have occurred! But let us consider another point which is central to sequences. After the Big Bang, the famous primordial soup CONVENIENTLY appeared upon the surface of the earth. That "SOUP" was where life started, it is claimed. Well it Had to have been ETERNALLY EXISTING within The Singularity already. Or it somehow WILLED ITSELF INTO EXISTENCE. Clearly that is not science! But let us go further into the essential sequences NEEDED in order for evolution to be true. Our single celled ancestors formed in that soup, reportedly. There is a lot that goes into the formation of a single cell. But one major problem is this. Amino acids have to form proteins. Proteins are a necessity for cell formation. But the so-called primordial soup would have NOT ever let amino acids form proteins in the first place. Why? Water causes depolymerization. But protein formation REQUIRES polymerization. So in truth, the evolutionistic, single -celled ancestors could have never happened. Ohhhhh, but the problem deepens! You see, there are six absolutely indispensable essentials for life.1.Phosphorous 2. Carbon. 3. Nitrogen 4. Sulfur. 5. Hydrogen. 6. Oxygen. These will also have to have been ETERNALLY EXISTING or CAUSED THEMSELVES to come into existence. So it comes down to: 1. Proponents who cling to evolutionistic dogma, REQUIRE the supernatural despite how they ridicule it! 2. Creationists REQUIRE the supernatural also. The difference is _____ creationists' supernaturality HAS a mind!!!

      @@GregoryHolden-k5c No, AIG contracts require all their employees to disavow anything not explicitly stated in the Bible. You can't be an honest content creator or scientists after you sign that. Nothing is disregarded, you just make a baseless claim like the speaker does, and provide zero evidence for your claim. There is more evidence supporting evolution than any other scientific idea. Deal with it.

      @@GregoryHolden-k5c ?there was NEVER A TIME when the Big Bang could have occurred" Really, evidence? Because the data says it occurred 13.7 BYA.
      "Well it Had to have been ETERNALLY EXISTING within The Singularity already. Or it somehow WILLED ITSELF INTO EXISTENCE." - So, you also don't understand abiogenesis or evolution.
      And, abiogenesis is not a prerequisite for evolution.
      Still waiting for evidence for any of your claims after your tirade..

      Save your time, dude. No one is ever gonna have any good arguments against evolution. If all the world's religions can't come up with a single one after 2 centuries, no one ever is.
