Clemson played the HIGHEST number of true freshman snaps in 2023 - the highest. Why then would you expect them to come out of the gate in 2024 as an upper class, experienced team? Further, anyone watching will tell you that having playmakers on the edge is what Clemson's Offense has been missing for years, and that the true Freshman WR's that were added this year should help with that. It certainly won't help as much though in Week 1. So equating UGA's win over Clemson to the Clemson of 5-6 years ago is a fallacy unto itself, and is only promoted by talking heads and true believers who want to build up Kirby's 2024 team. I won't even go into the fact that the Clemson QB was beginning only his 2nd year as a Starter. Give Clemson the rest of the year to mature before you make world beaters out of them. Even Clemson fans know this......
NIU beat ND without tricks and the refs tried to help ND at the end with obvious cheating. How is NiU not 23rd but ND is the better team at 17 and belongs??😂
They should penalize refs when they make blatant bad calls especially the review refs , occasionally they will suspend refs for bs calls but not nearly enough they should at least get it right on reviews

@@Juicy_J713 did you watch that game? NIU could have scored 2 more times after blocking kicks when time expired. Where in the stats do you see “ND would win 9/10 times?” NIU beat them on the ground and all the stats support that.

October 12th Ohio St. comes to Autzen Stadium. First visit ever. We usually have to go to the Shoe to beat them, now we will beat them at home. See what you all say then after the disrespect handed to us by pollsters. Georgia beats an unranked Kentucky by 1 point 13-12, and loses one spot in the Poll!??? At least the coaches' poll has enough common sense to have us at 6. What does your panel say about that?
IMO the 12 team playoff makes the race to # 1, 2 etc less relevent. I mean everyone wants to be 1 but it just doesn't matter quite as much anymore.
I don't think it matters where you put Texas, Georgia and Ohio State at this point. I think those teams are 1a, 1b and 1c. Now, Georgia and Texas have impressive wins over power 4 teams, so they are bit more solidified then Ohio State, but Ohio State will have their chance.
I jus don't see Michigan as a huge win like everyone else sees it. This isn't the normal Michigan, they look pretty awful
@@gameovr17 I said “impressive wins over power 4 teams” I made no mention of any opinion one way or another of Michigan. Reason being is I’m not going to discredit Texas for playing lights out and also I respect both of those schools for having the balls to put these games on their schedule. Texas and Michigan had no idea what each of the teams would be when they scheduled the games.
So when Ohio State beats Oregon they will jump Georgia, right????

I'm a Tennessee Fan I would put USC around 15. But I do also think Brian Kelly is THE most over rated coach in the country. He loses big games and never wins the game when the other team has as good talent or better talent. He only beats teams that has less talent
Here's the problem with you guy's take on Texas leapfrogging Georgia, which is, quite frankly, unbelievable. TEXAS BEAT UTSA!!! What's the matter with you guys? You are all respected, especially Danny. How can you therefore, with a straight face, justify Georgia dropping a spot because they beat a much tougher Kentucky, AT Kentucky? UTSA lost to Texas State by almost the same score that they lost to Texas by. Both Georgia and Kentucky would have beaten UTSA by 50. Georgia is still the #1 team in the country. No question. Texas is right there as well. But we don't drop Georgia for escaping Kentucky with a W.
Because they are looking at all 3 games. Texas beat Michigan badly like Georgia beat Clemson badly. Texas beat Colorado State 52-0 and UTSA 56-7. Georgia beat TN Tech 48-3 and KY 13-12, after KY got smoked by SC.
@@davidgibson8484still a ridiculous conclusion. It seems more like a feeling, arch did well and the game was hyped because of it. At the end of the day it really doesn’t matter, by week 8 the rankings will actually hold some weight
@Duckswag87 the rankings don't mean anything for top teams. You win SEC, Big 10, ACC, or Big 12, you get a bye. They only matter for seeding, but only 1 SEC team will get a bye and it doesn't matter where they are ranked.
Georgia is going to run a gauntlet with Alabama, Texas, Ole Miss, and Tennessee. If they go 3-1 in those 4, maybe even 2-2 they should be #1, but it won't matter because at 2-2 they probably won't make the SEC Championship.
But let's say they go 4-0 in those 4 games and lose by 1 pt on a freak play in the SEC Championship and everyone still wants to rank them #1. Under the old system, they would have #1 seed in a 4 team playoff. Now, they would be #5.
If you want a bye you have to win the conference championship. Want a home game be ranked in top 6 to be safe. Want to be in, be ranked in top 9 to be safe.
You won't have a argument come Sept 28 anyway after BAMA stomps Georgia furthermore down the road Georgia plays Texas
