I am surprised that your channel and series have not gotten way more views like some other “louder” channels. You are the real deal. You are genuine and full of empathy and true professional insights, and very much under appreciated. I am glad that I am one of the few that found your invaluable contribution and amazing efforts to make me feel like I have a coach next to me to cheer me on. Please do not get discouraged by the views. You will get there and you have those of us to cheer you on. Please continue to do what you do. I am eternally grateful for your beautiful self and your work. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You make me feel less alone in this job searching ordeal. Blessings… ❤
This has helped me more than any other video I've watched. Ever. I even impressed the recruiter on a phone screen using this formula! Can you please do some interviews for BA, product manager, or product owner for a non faang company?
For fresh grads, focus on your career goals to start and then walk through any relevant experience you have, I've research or campus jobs or internships or co-ops.
Not yet, but our Founder Erika is going to do a TH-cam LIVE session next Wednesday at 10am Pacific time. She plans to dedicate the session to explaining GCA and answering live questions. Please join!
If a candidate's last job was 3 years ago for 1 year, and before the job he/she had another 5 years gap, does using the stories from your most recent 3 years of work experiences still apply? Or in this case, we can go more far back?
Absolutely, you can go further back. Great question. The important thing is that your details are clear (ie that you remember these projects well) and that the stories demonstrate the level of complexity and scope you can handle today (this is most important at FAANG companies because it impacts leveling, but it's a good guideline in general since it helps all interviewers understand how large and complex of a project you can handle well). What job are you interviewing for?!
