i would say considering the specs on note 12 pro and pro+ the pricing is fine. for vanilla model there's nothing to quote price this high which is really ridiculous. should've started with 14k for base variant.

Note 12 series is costly as hell. If it was priced under 25k for a 8/128 version that would have been hands down phone of the year. But after looking at the launch I feel the Moto G series is worth it.

@@Samdevay very true. This time Xiaomi made a big mistake in pricing just by blaming everything on supply chain and chip shortage issues. If it's 30k plus then Dimensity 8200 is a mandatory chip.

@@Samdevay there is s21 fe, Moto edge 30 pro/fusion, xiaomi 12 pro, realme gt 2 pro or Vivo x80. But I would suggest waiting till February ends. There are a lot of smartphones launching every week for the next 1 month.

I was getting one plus 10r (12/256gb) 150W variant in 36k from the local shop... But waited for redmi note 12 for nearly same performance with better price & now they've priced it at 33k 🙂
Last year note 11 also had ufs 2.2 storage and that phone came under 14k. This is ok but at 30k, I will prefer IQOO 9se or IQOO neo6.

Isn't it good if we go for Poco X4 Pro 5g it's offering same specs and i think somewhat more in some ways like 360HzTSR, 64MP Rear Primary Camera and 67W MMT charging.
I don't think Xiaomi will now ever comeback and launch a good phone under budget series.
