I've been listening to Jordan for 4 years now... I just graduated and once I pass the licensing exam, I will be a Registered Nurse at the age of 49. It's never too late to find your passion and that one thing that will lead you to a satisfying life.
important to note he said _bear_, not bare. If you bare it, you're showing it off. but if you bear it, you're taking responsibility for it - which is what Peterson advocates.
If I make my bed with the strong the weak will suffer the strong If I make my bed with the weak the strong will suffer the weak. What a life of separation. I would rather be weak than strong, the strong have their reward.
In my 36 years of life I have never met or heard anyone quite like Jordan Peterson. This man changed my life for better, he somehow speaks to my very soul. He has my undying gratitude and utmost respect.
I couldn't sleep for over 24 hours after hearing this for the first time. It was my first JP video. He spoke to my soul and i was awoken. Since that day everything has changed. Finances, marriage, fitness, diet and how i am as a father. I owe you so much Mr. Peterson. Thankyou!
@@Thankujp by any metric my life has evolved into something more beautiful. Still laser focused on improving and constantly sacrificing today for the promise of tomorrow. I appreciate you asking and I wish you well on your journey of betterment.
I became a father for the first time at 40 and finding this man was the best gift I could have given my son. I am working everyday to show him what love truly is and be his teacher, raise a healthy strong minded, compassionate and creative man in a world surrounded by weakness.
Good job dad! If you someday encounter tragedy in your life.. god forbid inflicted on your child. Return to Jordan Peterson for help this guy went thru it an overcame the dread. Cheers I know we dont know each other but I am proud people like you exist. Have a great life man!!❤
the same way angry teens hate their father. Thats all there is to it. If i see the rallies where they scold him air horn him and everything, its just tantrum. Its like that music video by 'twisted sister' where the dad wails at his deadbeat son: "what do you want to dooo with youuuur life!?" and he says "i wanna rock!" strikes a chord on his guitar and launches dad through the window and out the house. To teens that looks great but in reality the kid would be better off having a man to man talk with dad. Peterson says "the world is like THIS!, now how ya gonna deal with that? how are you going to prepare fro the moment when you have to face that alone, without the safe cocoon mommy and daddy provide? how are you going to get that moon rocket to lift off once the tower disconnects and swings away? " And yeah they hate that. They want to deny that growing up means suffering, toil, despair and getting dirty hands. He explains there are no white knights, because even the whitest knight has a bloody red sword. You know, for a large part i blame how we treat kids for this. from the dawn of time, up to the middle ages, an average 6 year old child had seen more suffering and death then a 40 year old has nowadays. Children were simply 'people' back then and participated in adult society as much as their mental and physical capabilities allowed. There was no walled playground where they could pretend the world to be some safe utopian paradise. After the middle ages our society became more complex so the concept of a school to prepare kids came up, so that the general populace would have a basic level of knowledge.then, around the victorian age, some person came up with the concept of the innocent, pure child and the idyllic carefree childhood, and piece by piece the hardships of life were removed from children's eyes. . And that single idea has probably done more harm then good. Dont know who it was, but some writer of scary stories once said that its good for kids to be scared now and then. Growing up without being afraid is a poor preparation for a world where you have to live with fear, in a universe where several dozens of things can happen at every instant that will be really, really bad and scary. Denying that doesnt help anyone. Just like you need to boil a frog slowly or it will jump away, so you must get kids used to the shitstorm out there gradually, tiptoeing into fear or their mind will run. What we do now is put kids in a walled compound where we paint rosey pictures on the wall and only let nice people in. Then at 16 (or 18 or 21 depends a bit on the region), but usually somewhere around the high school/college time ) we suddenly drag them outside of the rosey painted walls and throw them in the midst of a warzone. All the stuff we taught them (play nice, share stuff, dont lie, dont fight, help eachother, be polite) truns out to be BS and hinder your life instead of helping it. They also go straight from 'when i grow up i want to be a policeman and drive around in a car with loud sirens and catch bad guys!' to having to choose some kind of profession in a world where the job market fluctuates so fast that what you choose today may be obsolete by the time you finish school, and where 'bad guys' are often running banks instead of robbing them. And we, as parents havent prepared them. Yeah thats when they go and make up their own solutions. I was like that too. If at 16, suddenly it goes from 'care bears' to 'mad max' and suddenly a parent who has been preaching love, kindness and sharing tells you to 'toughen up or you wont make it out there!' some do so, but many say "if 'out there' is that bad then i dont want any part of it! It must change!" and they are right, but its just not so simple to change it. Otherwise we would have by now. The problem is that the walled utopia we create for our kids imprints them with the idea that there is a a paradise that we can easily create. After all, they were just dragged out of it! Why kids rebel so much against the strong father figure is because he dargs them out of that safe womb like place and says "playtime is over, summer's gone, now get cracking!" And the nicer and safer that womb was, the more scared and angry the kid will be. The more they will try to crawl back into the womb/playground. or transform the whole universe in a playground, which is impossible. In any case, all the frustrations this creates will be heaped upon the father figure. Its the whole fall from paradise story. Kids live in the garden like adam and eve. We, as parents are god telling them not to eat the apple. But inevitably they must, and that is what the snake represents. The way the world is demands we know of suffering and 'evil' But that knowledge ends paradise. What pissed of university sjw kids do is what any sane christian child would do: ask "but if god loves us and didnt want us to eat the apple and leave paradise... why did he put the apple there, why not remove it or put it out of reach? why didnt he just throw out the snake? Hes all powerful isnt he? so why didnt he?" And so they get pissed ad (god) the father. God created all this, so hes to blame. god placed the apple and the snake in such was way that the eating had to happen eventually. And when they ate, god drove them out of paradise. Dad(s) created this world and its his/their fault we have to suffer in it. Daddy says "no" to their childlike desires and feelings and thats the first time they get to hear that really tough word. so they blame daddy, because they cant see that it is actually nature that says the 'no' An d that daddy has actually kept all the no's of nature away from them their whole life and turned them into temporary 'yes' at great costs and sacrifice, but that the time has come where he cant keep doing that.. So to the child it seems like daddy transforms the paradise into hell. They cant see whether the playground is a small walled safe space in a hostile universe, or that the hostile place is one small exception in a safe and gentle playground. What the kids dont see is that paradise was an illusion the whole time and that al powerful father is just a stumbling wretch doing his best to make the most of it for himself, his family, and the rest of the world. Instead they make tantrums at the father-god image and scold him for not making a better world, or not listening to their child like ideas about how things could be paradise again. Thats why they run to marxism and reject the picture peterson draws about the soviet union. They dont want to see perfection will be impossible, they just say 'perfection isnt possible nòw, because youre not doing it right' Peterson confronts them with the fact that 'getting it right' is so subjective that anyone attempting it will have a huge chance of making things worse. The kids then think "thats just you. Because youre a bad person I woùld do it right for real" and peterson contradicts that idea too. so yeah, they get quite infuriated, as he is trying to do 20 years of maturation in 20 minutes. Thats the hate against Peterson in a rather large coconutshell.
That's the way the world works, if someone is needed he becomes influential and famous to reach more people. It's our society that's designed like that. Food for thought, think about why famous people are famous, you can always find a underlying reason why people put them on such a pedestal.
When thoughts become too dark, too negative .. I run to Dr.Peterson's videos, and I find this incredible refuge and relief in his voice, and just seeing what a beautiful mind and soul he is. Thank you for saving me on a daily basis Dr Peterson, and being my safety net whenever I'm about to fall into that deep end. You are truly the embodiment of a god-sent blessing.
I am so confused that he is called a dangerous right wing Proffesor?!?! He teaches responsibility and love. He is so passionate about a world of peace.
He objected to the government compelling people by law to use preferred pronouns. Advocates for that law insist that he's wrong and motivated by hate. It snowballed from there.
Exactly! Funny story, I actually avoided listening to his book all the way through (the 1st time) because he was talking about things I knew I needed to change. I think his message can be perceived as provocative or dangerous because it makes things a little too clear and might require some internal examination, that some might be avoiding (myself included). Because those people want to blame their problems, insufficiencies, and lack of growth on others, a system, and not themselves or their experience in life. I discovered Dr. Jordan Peterson by accident here on TH-cam, at the lowest level of my life. I have listened to him consistently and Dr. Peterson changed my life. Thanks so much.
I am a 15 year old girl, and I absolutely love Jordan, I don't like to idolize people, but I look up to him, heavily. Since I've started watching his lectures and reading his books, my life has been more in order and more enjoyable, I keep my room clean, I maintain my grades which are all A's and B's currently, I learn as much as possible, I write and speak with people to become more articulate with my words and speech, and lately I've been thinking of joining the debate team at my school. When a problem or argument arises with other people, I try my best to remain calm, reasonable and understanding, I make a great effort to not raise my voice or talk down to them. My friends and family tell me I'm kind, mature, intelligent and wise, which I feel has only increased since I've started watching his talks and lectures.
Dude is incredible. Brings me to tears sometimes. Sad part is there is a very small group of people who can take this and use it to their advantage instead of picking apart his opinions and labeling them as alt right or misogynistic. Truly an amazing human being and has influenced me to change so many things about my life for the better.

Jordan Peterson you have changed my life, I hope you read these comments but I need to say I was stuck in an abusive relationship for 4 years with someone and you with your youtube videos have given me the strength to leave. I don't recognise that completely as i sit here with broken bones but the one thing I am completely clear about is, is that you have made it better. Thankyou!
The voice that spoke down to you,, you will soon forget, the bones that are broken will heal, your heart will repair itself and you will love again. But the most difficult thing to do is to get away from the abuse.. and that is what you have done... You have already begun your new life's journey, but this time now... Your have gained strength.. non of that abusive relationship was your fault, and soon you will be blessed with someone you deserve that will appreciate you for all the rest of your days. I'm positive.
he's changed my life to a point that I watch his vids on youtube while cooking, ironing, cleaning, in a few words; being productive. at times it felt in the past like I had the pattent for procrastination....
I like to listen to him while doing mindless chores; I can always go back if I want to have some point repeated. Life is more satisfying when I can make sense of it rather than being in a state of constant confusion.
@@williamcolgrave hi there! I come upon a blog by his daughter who explained in some detail what was happening in her family, clearly feeling it was something we needed to be aware of. I can explain a little here but you would be better informed if you find the blog. Dr Peterson's wife became gravely ill with an aggressive for of cancer. The family were informed she was terminal. If you are familiar with his life you will know that he fell in love with his wife when they were both children, he said he was eight at the time. You will also know that he, in the past has suffered greatly from depression. So in order to manage this he went on a course of antidepressants. Unfortunately he became addicted and needed help. At the time of his daughters blog her mother was doing well and Dr Peterson's was in rehab. There was a message from her mom and a little clip of her dad looking very fragile while taking a walk with her using some kind of walker. It was all deeply moving and extremely sad. Please forgive lack of detail or any incorrect info.

Same thing happened to me about 11 years ago. Keep your head up and take the time your soul needs to morn and accept and understand your losses. It's hard and often times is at the fault partly of others... Don't have malice for these people or situations as this will only furthermore hold you back and hold you down. It's all real hard but just try to manifest and understand how they universe is helping you manifest yet a better life for yourself than that which you were fixed in and had provided for yourself. Just know that there's better coming and remain a good righteous soul and the light will come to be. As for my situation it's taken me awhile to pick up the pieces and continue in the direction of righteousness, but today I'm trying. Living in the now and doing what I can to help my self in the situations I'm in is the best I can do and the start of excelling past the point I was yesterday. Good luck and keep your soul content with your heart and emotions...
Keep moving forward Jacqueline ! I too lost everything very unexpectedly at the age of 28. I am now in my 60's and look back and wonder, 'how did I ever make it through such a tough time?' Know this: whatever problems you may have, they are NOT permanent. Never give up. At the very beginning of the video, Dr. Peterson says that people are very, very, very tough. He also says at the 21:I0, "You're tougher than you think." Dr. Peterson is a wise man. I wish you peace.
I've been a wreck for 20 years. With this man's vocalized passion and insight, I believe I am capable of the self love I lost to carry through. Thank you so much sir, and Merry Christmas.
@Joseph Marton find a place in life where suffering isn't the rule but the exeption, find people you love if you havent already, go out into some forest and just listen to the birds chirp and the winds blow, look up at the stars, take some big risks that others would call you crazy for, feel the suspense, excitement, content and awe from doing these things, say hey to strangers, buy a boat and go off into the abyss for a while, go on walks to places you don't usually go, be daring and brave and live the way you want and you'll find a reason that goes beyond what the human language can describe.
@Joseph Marton After that I would like to never stop learning new skills and if someday I got kids it would be a unique chance to prove myself that I changed for good and as an outcome I hope my kid won't fail in his life, in things that fulfill inside him.

alot of his stuff has helped me , struggling with chronic pain / depression / insomnia / just physical problems in general can be so devastating and the darkness he talks about is real .... the world now is difficult anyways we can't have everything but just the simplest things are so valuable
When hearing a message that moves you to understand, to be compassionate to others, or that makes you cry... you have been leased by the truth. When you hear the truth it moves you to be more of what you already are at your core...either good or bad. If you feel stunned after hearing the truth, you should know you are being called to make a choice between who you choose to be. Choosing to be a good person means you need to be strong and responsible because you realize who you are is crucial to what the world is becoming.

I was turned on to searching him here on TH-cam by the negative publicity of people calling him racist, far right etc. (neither of which I am). And I'm glad I did, because neither is he. He's a good dude. I have a LOT of catching up to do. Plenty of videos I still need to watch
glad you found him, but there is nothing wrong with being far right or racist. Racism is just discrimination, but tell me, do birds of a feather not flock together? Multiculturalism while a noble ideal, very much goes against our innate animal nature of "birds of a flock fly together". There are far too many competing ideas for them too all mix in one perfect harmony society. So are red birds racist for not flocking with blue birds? If you want to make more chinese people you need to have two chinese people make babies. Is that racist?
@@kayneassasin You know your idea has more merit then you think. I believe a lot of people have similar views and think like you but they just remain silent to society. They are what some people call the silent majority.

Those expensive weddings followed by brand new cars, RV's, ATVs... exotic holidays only come with both of you *RARELY* leaving the incredible stresses of work, never seeing your kids grow up or having the TIME to actually teach them anything. Today people are rarely taught anything, parents are in and out, most dont have the ministers or priests we used to have, our seniors are across the country or so old their in nursing homes or gone. So *WHO* do we *LEARN THE IMPORTANT LESSONS FROM?* School/teachers?? SADLY that is who we spent the bulk of our most important years with and they are not our family, the vast majority are not wise and IF they do teach important things, who are they? Are they screwed up? Are they political radicals? Who's morals/virtues etc.. are they teaching? WHO are they to speak deeply on critical topics that shape who we are? *IT IS CRITICAL WE HAVE PEOPLE LIKE DR PETERSON WHO IS NOT ONLY TRAINED IN PSYCHOLOGY, BUT WHO IS EXTREMELY WELL READ, A DEEP THINKER, MORAL, KIND* ........*WISE* People are blessed to have him now, at this most critical time I can think of.
Recently came across Jordan peterson, He's an incredible Man and Teacher. God Bless him and all who are willing to evolve to make the world better place. ,💕💪🙏
That's such a great metaphor. We as humans, we're all tools; both as the instrument, as in the insult 'tool', because what do we really know? Well, through hard work and forthright behaviour towards the good, we can become golden tools, something beautiful and useful out of something that was once simple and/or foolish.

Thank you Dr Peterson from the bottom of my heart you’ve changed my perceptions and habits tenfold. Thank you
Yeah I know what you are talking about. Guess I am going to end it next week. Absolutely no reason to go on or "to be" anymore for me, especially after I faced all that garbage. Guess I will go into the "Corona statistic" :D
@@philippkoch662 reach out to me to talk it through or let me know where you are so I can provide some details to run this through with someone. Nothing to lose by chatting?
@@chadwalkaden6375 The world just isnt the right place for me. I am tired of feeling. Tired of living. Everything sucks. Especially in Corona time. Last year I talked to a suicide hotline. I got one session then the therapist agreed that there is little hope for me and stopped with the "therapy" and wished me all the best. The homework I got was to talk to a nearby person about my plans. But I didnt. I dont want to get into a psychiatry because I am tired of living. Instead of that I bought some pills in the internet (Dont want to say the name of the pills, cause somebody could copy it). Thats the reason why the therapist stopped. Guess she was afraid to lower her "safer" percentage and that she was overwhelmed by my negativity. These pills are illegal in my country so I paid an enormous price for the pills (700 Euro). Dont need to say that I was mucked by the person. I thought there was a big chance to be mucked, but the little chance that I can get those pills was worth the price. He told me that the police would check my box on the airport if I dont pay another 1600 Euros. Of course I didn't pay that amount, cause I knew this guy was just making money out of miserable people. After the first shock i kinna felt interested how the police want to charge me because I want to take suicide and not make a train chauffeur unhappy. How on earth are suicide pills forbidden.... but it is okay to ruin a life of another person???? Needless to say all of the story was a lie. I never heard of the police or somebody else. And then there are those people who say "What an asshole. Jumping in front of a train. Lived as an asshole, died like an asshole. Its not the fault of the poor train driver that you live has become so miserable." And this is true. But society just want to avoid suicides by making it almost impossible to kill you without enormous violence. So I can not understand why people hate the people jumping in front of a train... cause there is not much left to do if you really want to die. So I have to change my strategy..... I dont want to jump from a building or in front of a train... I dont want to cause more pain. Not for me, and not for anyone else. So I am just searching for a peaceful way to die which cause little to no collateral damage. I dont want to be the reason why a train chauffeur becomes anxious or depressive. But... its getting more and more difficult to take your life cause everything gets "safer". Paracetamol is so light nowadays that you can not get enough into your system to die. So I read a ton of literature, and I found a way that seems quite peacefully (As peacefully as suicide can get I guess ;) ) and quite secure.
@@philippkoch662 seems that there is lots of pain for you and you have had enough of it. But, I also see that you don't want to cause suffering for others. That's honorable and maybe a glimmer of something you can build around. Jordan's work is extremely powerful and some of the videos could speak to you. You never know what day it will be when you hear something or connect with something you haven't before
@@philippkoch662 You have enough lust for life to want to write a bunch of detailed prose about your plans, so there is a reason for hope for you for starters. Don't dwell on it, just think, This too shall pass. Be well.
We all have a lot to fix: sometimes hate is appropriate. We may hate what someone does and still love them, and sometimes we must hate the person to combat their hateful destructive actions. To everything there is a season...
We need more people like this. He crosses every race, color, religion and internalized identity. Only once a generation do we get a human like this to help us evaluate ourselves and the way we should relate to everything. He’s imperfect too and he’s well aware of it.👍
Jordan Peterson videos have wonderful commenters. Powerful stuff. I’m equally grateful for this man and will do my best to carry the torch with you all.
Jorden Peterson is a breath of fresh air for me with his intellect and TRUTH and HUMILITY has literally saved my life. He has given me hope to keep trying to continue to navigate thru all this hatred and insanity! ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for putting your genius out there in spite of it all with your amazingly deep empathy and compassion fighting for us to make our World a better place!
I thought I'd comment on agoraphobia as someone getting through it. In my case, I was both protected and "hid" from life in a dangerous and chaotic household. I could "live" there in perpetuity, but was both isolated and further self-isolating. Now I'm learning how to be an adult, and it can be terrifying, but I'm doing it somehow in little steps.
I've had similar struggles and I'm so happy to hear you're making progress. I still have days that I can barely force myself to leave my little comfortable room, but learning how to do it was one of the most difficult things I've ever done, and unquestionably the most important thing that I've ever accomplished. You can do it! One day at a time.
I'm saving all videos of this man's work for my son. It took me a long time to be ok with myself, believe in myself, and this content has expedited that process over the last few years.
Indeed my two favourite sages too, I'm 71 and only recently broke free of my religious shackles and accepting the shadow side within, I am my own saviour, as my God has been my conscience since 8yr old.
I love how Jordan Peterson talks I just heard his first video yesterday and I’ve watched so many of them since. He is so smart. Immediately I wrote out a daily planner after hearing him break down how many profitable hrs we just waste on nothing. Even though I personally don’t know him I told a coworker that Jordan Peterson is my mentor and explained some of the lessons he taught me.... much love JP!
Jordan Peterson depth is so valuable in the world today. I do think- I also listen- I value every word he says. Jordan Peterson your message is needed! Hearts❤
bought 50 editions of the book in several different languages (french, german, english) and sent them to friends together with a letter. probably the most "responsive" christmas-gift- thing i ever did in my life. none of them just said "tahnks, happy christmas". most of them deeply touched by what they read, and highly inspired. coolest case as far as i am concerned , was the case of a young man, having read just one book in his wholelife. and that one, just because he had to, at school. he forced himself to go through it, he told me 2 weeks after christmas, and meanwhile is so inspired by what he has learned, that its a privilege to watch him developing. stunning. and all of that , is surely egoistic. it feels good to have made a present, that has the potential to better the life of those you love & like. amazing. thanks for all of that to jbp.cheers and greetings from germany.
But it can also be burdensome, if see storms coming for example because you can see the patterns and proces huge ammounts of information. If you go and warn people they declare you insane
This is the best compilation of statements of Jordan Peterson I have seen so far! Thank you for putting this video together and online. It helped me tremendously in a very difficult life situation.

Well said
Yeah, he's so genuine, I get disagreeing, but not disliking
the same way angry teens hate their father.
And yeah they hate that.
It must change!"
and they are right, but its just not so simple to change it.
The way the world is demands we know of suffering and 'evil'
But that knowledge ends paradise. What pissed of university sjw kids do is what any sane christian child would do: ask "but if god loves us and didnt want us to eat the apple and leave paradise... why did he put the apple there, why not remove it or put it out of reach? why didnt he just throw out the snake? Hes all powerful isnt he? so why didnt he?"
And so they get pissed ad (god) the father.
Jordan Peterson came into view at the exact right moment the world needed him... I needed him.

Where's he gone? 😧

His daughter said he continues to improve and this video shows him 4 days ago in discussions with a like minded soul

JP will get you through this, the apsolute minimum you will gain is a positive mindset, well done
Thank you, I do know. I'm grateful that dude became a thing years ago. One of the few I've ever seen that can achieve this height of his level. Also happy that had a comment to mine so quickly, means folks are still watching
Awesome keep moving forward
fall upward dont give up. keep aiming up
Same thing happened to me about 11 years ago.
This man stuck up for us youngians , when no one would , he spoke through the defining silence of men’s issues . Glad to be apart of this
He's at the very least a brilliant psychologist. At the very most a genius of life.
I lost everything, seemed no reason to continue, somehow I keep moving forward, Thank you Dr.Jordan Peterson...
Jacqueline Nack well done. There’s always a reason to continue

Joseph Marton because we as evolved chimps have nothing better to do
@Joseph Marton find a place in life where suffering isn't the rule but the exeption, find people you love if you havent already, go out into some forest and just listen to the birds chirp and the winds blow, look up at the stars, take some big risks that others would call you crazy for, feel the suspense, excitement, content and awe from doing these things, say hey to strangers, buy a boat and go off into the abyss for a while, go on walks to places you don't usually go, be daring and brave and live the way you want and you'll find a reason that goes beyond what the human language can describe.
@Joseph Marton After that I would like to never stop learning new skills and if someday I got kids it would be a unique chance to prove myself that I changed for good and as an outcome I hope my kid won't fail in his life, in things that fulfill inside him.
@Joseph Marton That's funny, because at least here in Europe women love that stuff.
Jordan is a gift for our time.
There is no one on TH-cam who has JBP's credibility, when you're not ideologically blind, there is no escaping his truth, a gift for our time. As more dirt they throw at Peterson, the more he impresses. He is a rock in heavy waters, does not go for cheap compromises, for shallow peaces, so clear, so strict, but then still heartly, following his own truth, still open for the truth of others, ready to go an extra mile for the others to meet in the middle, so no one is the winner, but an even better truth.
Jordan has the whisdom and knowledge, to see through dusts others are blind. It is in a way surprising, that so many people worldwide see this in Jordan, whereas the so called academics often remain blind.
Well said my friend, we all see the light of Dr Peterson.
I owe the rest of my life to Jordan Peterson. He was a flickering candle in dark but once I picked him up and brought his wisdom into my life, slowly but surely I was able to see how strong I am and to "clean my room". I'm 5 yrs sober from heroin and I owe to JPB. JBP if you ever read this post, I just want to say Thank You for helping get my life back.
It's amazing that you've made such a change in your life. I am impressed!
Dear Mr. Jordan Peterson,
While I understand you may never see this, I want to take a moment to say thanks. Thanks for taking your time to tell me what I need to hear to continue on in life when things aren't going so well. You're such a compationate man and I appreciate you. Mr. Peterson stay strong! Please take care of yourself and be strong durring this trying time in your life. With love, D.
This man saved my life from falling into total uncontrollable chaos. Not once, but many times.
Lucky that you caught it on time
alot of his stuff has helped me , struggling with chronic pain / depression / insomnia / just physical problems in general can be so devastating and the darkness he talks about is real .... the world now is difficult anyways we can't have everything but just the simplest things are so valuable
I hope all is better for you. I deal with constant pain = depression myself.
And here i am again at work trying not to cry like a child
oh, so its not only me ;)
When hearing a message that moves you to understand, to be compassionate to others, or that makes you cry... you have been leased by the truth.

Revisiting again for the 100th time. Love this so much.
Is that racist?
kayneassasin I think you need to watch some JP videos then maybe stop saying racism is fine
@@kayneassasin You know your idea has more merit then you think. I believe a lot of people have similar views and think like you but they just remain silent to society. They are what some people call the silent majority.

My heart breaks for this man because he has actually “seen the truth of it all” he is clearly overwhelmed with pain because he can see the truth of it all.. this pain is pain only suffered by the few who have figured it all out.. so sad that he has offered us so many gifts that can help us heal or manage our life so that our suffering can be a little less to bare.. the cost to him though.... once you see the enormity of our true existence .. if you can face it without the pain killing you then you no doubt will be able to transcend this place.. if he is able to take a breath after knowing the pain and still care enough to share .., man..... what a true hero.. he braved looking at what we all fear... he took those steps, faced the fear and shows the way..
I believe that there is an incredible beauty in pain.....
Pain such as his..?, says that he has actually lived and despite truth, he lives.. Jordan , I’m unbelievably grateful , thank you for sharing what you have learned.. I’m sorry that the truth hurts so badly..
Thank you for the positive wave you created in our world , the waves of positive that you have created will ring on for time and time........⏳, well done.. bravo 👏 thank u 🙏

*THIS COMPILATION SHOWS HIS BRILLIANCE AT TEACHING US WHAT WE ALREADY KNOW DEEP DOWN INSIDE - OR SHOULD*
We have lost so much of our common sense and many of us where never taught it in the first place. Our society is so superficial, we are fed this diet of life is SUPPOSED to be HAPPY, carefree, filled with travel to exotic places, new homes, huge fancy weddings, brand new cars, new RV's that cost as much as our house towing a speedboat and ATV behind it.... We are rarely told life has FLEETING happiness, if you have relative peace that's great and likely as good as it gets.
*IT IS CRITICAL WE HAVE PEOPLE LIKE DR PETERSON WHO IS NOT ONLY TRAINED IN PSYCHOLOGY, BUT WHO IS EXTREMELY WELL READ, A DEEP THINKER, MORAL, KIND* ........*WISE*
People are blessed to have him now, at this most critical time I can think of.
agreed well said
People used to spend a lot of down time thinking deeply about things. Now they're to busy with the modern world to even look.
Recently came across Jordan peterson, He's an incredible Man and Teacher. God Bless him and all who are willing to evolve to make the world better place. ,💕💪🙏
"Our society is complex and you have to be a golden tool to fix things..." I guess he doesnt know that he IS a golden tool then...
That's such a great metaphor. We as humans, we're all tools; both as the instrument, as in the insult 'tool', because what do we really know? Well, through hard work and forthright behaviour towards the good, we can become golden tools, something beautiful and useful out of something that was once simple and/or foolish.
Aww babe. That's amazing. Your like a golden flashlight. You made a great point. 'takrs one to know one's that was just beautiful.

@@natedog69420 I agree with everyone who admires this man. But you know, we all each of us have it in us to become as awesome as he is, in our own way. We are all made in the image and likeness of God, and God doesn't make mistakes. We do. This man is basically preaching the message John the Baptist preached at the coming of the Messiah. Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. But he unpacks this and repackages it in a way that everyone finds a) understandable and b) attractive. He is legend!

NEVER A BETTER TIME TO LISTEN TO THIS WHEN THE WORLD IS GOING INSANE WITH COVOID-19
Its not the fault of the poor train driver that you live has become so miserable."
And this is true.
Rule 2 of "12 rules of life" changed my life. I recommend reading the book, if you feel like you're lost and worthless.
bought 50 editions of the book in several different languages (french, german, english) and sent them to friends together with a letter. probably the most "responsive" christmas-gift- thing i ever did in my life. none of them just said "tahnks, happy christmas". most of them deeply touched by what they read, and highly inspired. coolest case as far as i am concerned , was the case of a young man, having read just one book in his wholelife. and that one, just because he had to, at school.
he forced himself to go through it, he told me 2 weeks after christmas, and meanwhile is so inspired by what he has learned, that its a privilege to watch him developing. stunning. and all of that , is surely egoistic. it feels good to have made a present, that has the potential to better the life of those you love & like. amazing. thanks for all of that to jbp.cheers and greetings from germany.
