Based on history, MMA fans don't care about domestic violence or sexual assault violence against women. They have no problem with Jones', Dana White's or Greg Hardy's behavior. They just see very alpha, aggressive, and successful men whom they want to emulate. They don't give a shit about character. I don't think it will affect his MMA career at all

The daily humiliation that people endure in day to day work lives can be traumatic when they have to act subservient to others... For the people who say ‘oh if it was real it would be a criminal trial’ thats just not the way the world works unfortunately, the bar for criminal is much higher and these things are very hard to prove. Good analysis thankyou sensible too. Evidence is evidence irrespective of the type of proceding. The burden of proof is much higher in a legal proceeding than a civil which results in many cases not progressing. There are some irregularities in this civil proceeding which may mean it is thrown out in a high court appeal.
Two things bug me about this civil lawsuit. First, the paramedic who examined Nikita Hand the day after the supposed rape testified that she had never before seen someone with that intensity of bruising, but police in Ireland did not find enough evidence to press charges against Conor McGregor. Second, she accused to men of raping her; one is convicted and the second is exonerated. So, the jury thinks she lied about one man, and then believes her about getting raped by the other? See how that raises more questions and should increase the scrutiny against her allegations?

No one else will fight Aspinall and since McGregor once stated that he will be going for all the belts, it is an oppotinity for mcGregor to redeem himself. The burden of proof is much higher in a legal proceeding than a civil which results in many cases not progressing. There are some irregularities in this civil proceeding which may mean it is thrown out in a high court appeal.

First, the paramedic who examined Nikita Hand the day after the supposed rape testified that she had never before seen someone with that intensity of bruising, but police in Ireland did not find enough evidence to press charges against Conor McGregor. Second, she accused to men of raping her; one is convicted and the second is exonerated. So, the jury thinks she lied about one man, and then believes her about getting raped by the other? See how that raises more questions and should increase the scrutiny against her allegations?
