I don't care about fragrances... I mean, I like them, I have 7/8, like to smell nice and like to smell unique so most of mine are niche's but I don't like CARE care, certainly not enough to watch videos about them lol (or so I thought) But I love watching your videos, because I love listening to passionate people talking about something they're incredibly knowledgeable about and I find this more important to me in todays world where the internet has allowed the many, often more vocal, charlatans take center stage. I don't understand half the words you use and yet you make them interesting to me. Basically long winded cheers for making great vids ;)
Bought a bottle of this last year, the performance is actually good on me for this type of fragrance. Unpopular opinion - to me this is a better alternative to TF Mandarino di Amalfi. It is giving me the same vibe while performing better, being higher quality and actually being better priced than the TF. I consumed two bottles of this for the past two summers, is it the best citrus in the world?, NO, but it’s functional and well priced at discounters. It sits above 99% designer citrus fragrances when it comes to quality, performance, value….i have 3 PDM beasts for this summer, can’t wait to try something aquatic from ATH!

Aaron, I would love it if you were able to do an in depth review of the new Tom Ford Neroli Portofino Perfume, and maybe even compare it to the EdP, just as you did with Oud Wood Perfume. Is it work the steep £330 price?
Should keep a simple spreadsheet of all the perfume reviews and marks. It would take a couple of minutes to populate the spreadsheet. Then, easy to check which ones your liked or did not from a house.
I don't think anyone can do Citrus like ATH can. As I sit here enjoying every second of the Supernova I am wearing at the office today. I finally got my hands on this and Supersonic about a month ago and already have had more than a handful of compliments on how nice supernova and supersonic smells. No other house gets me compliments except one time I got a compliment on Jean Paul Gaultier lemale elixir. Aside from that I don't get compliments UNTIL I wear ATH. All his fragrances I have worn have gotten me attention, but in particular the citrus fragrances Supernova, SuperSonic, Guapo, and Blue Fever seem to really get me a lot of attention. ATH is a MASTER at citrus scents and for the record, I have no idea how he can get them to project and last HOURS and HOURS when most citrus fragrances only last 3-4 hours max. ATH gets 6-10 hours! Nothing out there compares! I had to pay more this year because ATH cant ship to the US so getting it was a bit of an adventure, but after some searching I found a guy who decants in pressurized bottles that has most ATH fragrances so I am good to go! Cant wait until the factory opens here so we don't have to buy from very expensive re sellers though.
This fragrance was a disappointment for me,.. a nice freshy ,that does not last. Way to expensive for what it is. There are at least 100 fresh scents that smell like this and even last longer for half the price ( L'eau de Rochas for instance)
That HEADIONE HIGH CIS(70%ISOMER VOLUME)that made this perfume exactly what it is.and I am wondering how they manage to use it with with AMBRETOLIDE.I am struggling with using them both at the same time no matter what✌️
I love BDK and fig fragrances, but Citrus Riviera was a scrubber for me. It was too masculine for me and not bright enough. It smelled quite typical for a citrus/woody scent.
This fragrance is HORRIBLE. It's bright and great opening only lasts for a few seconds and then it turns into the most boring dry down I have ever experienced.
Bit of a long-shot, but I don't suppose you remember Armani Attitude? It has been discontinued since around 2013, and I am not aware of any copies of this. Are you aware of anything like it, or are any of your fragrances similar to this in any way?
My reaction was the same. You can tell the quality is there, but I couldn’t get past the sweet-metallic strawberry smell in the dry down. Very disappointing as I hoped to find a freshie from BDK as incredible as their Gris Charnel Extrait is for winter.
I had a bottle of this at one point. In the air and from across the room it's okay. I agree though, up close on skin its off putting. I personally don't like neroli, but even beyond that it was a no for me. Sel d'Argent is even harder to digest.
I have this and I’m a fan of it. He is right, spray a bit heavier, performance is a little ok’sh. After watching this, mentioning the “celery”, I thought it was odd I never noticed before. Went and smelled…yeah I see what he means. Now I’m hoping I can “unsmell” it😂
Love the technical analysis you give, such an insight in the cologne you're reviewing. Please keep up the good work. Now if I can only get my hands on some Hard Candy Elixir or Slut Elixir.
Yeah it was included in a best citrus video, but having spent more time with it beyond the opening it really isn’t for me but that’s just personal preference

SAMPLE before you buy, as you may have heard many in the community say. I imagine you don’t really love the fragrance if you’re leaving these kinds of comments, to which I say you should learn from YOUR mistake and not be so hasty in the future.

2 different friends have purchased this after smelling it on me-if that tells you anything. Longevity is just ok, but definitely overall worth it.

waste of money , i both it and disappears after an hour or so ... bdk even the name sound weird ....
Villa neroli is a mess as well. I have Sel D’Argent and I like it in the high heat, but definitely not the best either.

The only monster citrus of quality I know is even after 1,1k fragrances tested is still Bergamask
