Wow, I'm honoured to be in the video! Thank you for reviewing my plot and noticing all the details, I'm glad my build was your favourite! And yeah that description is pretty lengthy, lol.
Hello! Thank you for looking at my plot as well! I’m so happy and honored to be able to appear in a video with someone I admire. I worked hard on my build during the period, so I’m really glad to hear you think it’s cute. Thank you so much!
Hey! Thanks for the review on my plot, I'm glad you liked that! The portal with the modern building rappresented what the "Architect's dream" lead to (starting from Chicago's school)
Without reading the text or this comment, my interpretation was 'mankind' moving through differerent eras and then dreaming of the new modern style we are currently experiencing. I feel like I wasn't far wrong, now I see what you wrote! All in all, it's truly beautiful, it was the only one that actually made me feel something. Wonderful art work.
@@catsandcrafts171 That's exactly it! The mankind was in search of a new architectural style that was no longer based on the past. Thanks for the appreciation!
Amazes me what builders can do. Very nice review of a sampling of the participants! I didn't have time this month to look around, so I'm very glad you made this video!
The plot by CalvenMC is called ''Beacon Of The Mind". The idea is that the lighthouse is like a dream that is lighting the area letting the imagination see the way (or something like that haha)
omg! thanks so much for reviewing my build! i agree on all you're points about using some more pink and such but i was restricted by time and changed some stuff last minute like the eather/ purple lines. i love how it turned out i have only been building for around4 months now so i am happy!
32:40 calven‘s build is called „beacon of the mind“ i think and meant to resemble the chaos in someone‘s mind with the storm and the bird is the light thats guides us through our own storm in our minds. If you get it, the build is even cooler! Not sure but that‘s how i remember it from his build streams
Cool to see my plot in one of your videos! I sadly didn't have time to fully commit to my plot which is why it as a whole looks unfinished, for example I planned to include many more structures and the tree was only a last minute decision to make everything look more complete. Overall I wanted this build to be explorable and I'm glad you mentioned that. But as I said, a few days more would have worked wonders for my plot :D
this was a really fun contest, im glad even without the description of my build you were still kind of able to figure out what it was too! In case you're curious heres what the description of it was: A young child named liam is in art class and tasked with drawling what he thinks aliens would look like, though while his imagination is limited to only seashells and insects, and his drawling is unrecognizable scribbles, he has a near picture perfect scene forming in his head as he goes! will you be doing a build review of the bakery finales comp as well? it ends on dec14th i think
I've never been able to do reviews for bakery comps because they usually close off the comp world once it ends. Kibo will probably be the next build review.
This is such a late comment, but I still wanted to say thank you so much for including my build. When I got back into building a few months ago, I watched your videos to learn the new building tools, and I never expected to measure up. Its been so much fun learning how to build at a larger scale and with axiom, the contest outcome still seems crazy to me. I also agree with your criticism's, the violin was the builds weakest part and It was a lesson learned on prioritisation and time 😩
Soko and Drber undenied my plot ^^'. Still, thank you for making this review and I'm happy that you appreciate it (even without the description). I put a lot of work into the colors, and the placement of characters and elements was crucial for the storytelling and the composition. Well I think the description on the server is a little incomplete but it's still enough to understand it. I had such bad connection issues during the last week, and the server was located way too far from my location apparently that's why there are some problems and it wasn't undenied at the end😅 But I'm happy that the areas I had to ignore a little still work a minimum (some was supposed to be abstract but it still lacks refinement )☺
Thanks for visiting my plot, I'm _Raxus, I've always had problems with proportions, I'm practicing everything you mentioned, I learned a lot and I also had a lot of fun in the contest and I saw how those plots took those cool shapes, I hope one day to achieve something like that :D
for things like this, you should use the bobby mod, and have the render distance tuned up a lot more, it optimizes chunk loading, and will help with load speeds too,
Every build shown looks amazing, I could only imagine being that good at building in minecraft! By the way, do you notice how it looks like you are shaking in some of your videos? Is it the chunk loading lag or anything else?
@@KenDervout I was joking. Floating flowers among other things are not possible to make in survival. In the beginning of the video she says this is vanilla Minecraft plus one mod/tool. I'm not a builder so I didn't recognize it. But if you are curious you can look it up.
@@KenDervout A few years ago there were some people who were very insistent that only Minecraft inbuilt tools were used and no modifications or assistants were allowed, or else they considered it cheating. That's why I made this joke instead of giving a more serious response. I just looked it up. They are only allowed to use the Axiom mod. That is basically a creative+ mod. Most of those functions you can use with in-game commands, but they are much clunkier in vanilla. As I'm not a builder myself, I don't know how they build. But if you consider things like copy, ctrl+z and extrude as building by hand then yes, everything is built by hand. But if you only consider placing every block manually yourself, then no, they didn't build everything by hand. If you want to see what they are allowed to do then you can watch the video with the following title: _"A Guide to Minecraft's Smoothest Builder Tool | Axiom Mod Tutorial"_

Whoo, you nailed the idea of the build, I’m still working on technique, but I’m glad you liked the mushroom guys
42:08 this is a reference to the anime "your lie in April" if I'm not wrong
Of course it's 'Your Lie in April' , it's the most famous scene, you watched it too?
@eneliauralguran9789 no, but one of my friends talked about it once and showed me some of the characters
Yep! It's so blue because the piano player is mourning the death of the violin girl
@@netherjoshua Yes that's exactly it.
These builds are magical and surreal - just wonderful and awe inspiring. Big thank you to all the talented builders!
The theme is perfect for this contest! Allowing builder’s imaginations to go wild and showcase what’s possible with axiom!

6:59 Are you using texture packs? The glass looks too smooth. But maybe that's just on my side
