WOW. You have to have the most gentle and relaxing voice I’ve ever heard. I swear I could listen to you reading the phone book and I’d be relaxed. Lovely video, very helpful. Thank You.xxx
This was so relaxing and informative. With watching some older videos it's nice to see the simplicity and quality in a video. 😍 Don't know if you're still around but I wish you well!
At first I was shocked at the length of the video. However, it was one of the best nail care videos I've seen. Your speaking voice helps with that also because it is very soothing.
Death by acetone. Can you imagine? Somebody call the aspca. I'm just playing girl. Your nails are perfection; long nail beds, beautifully arched, and a c-curve to die for.
wow, this video was crazy. so in-depth! i just stopped biting my nails very recently so ive been looking for things to do to nurse my fingers back to health. thanks for the video!
I just learned something watching your video. What I learned is to use an emery board for dry cuticles, Mine are always dry and using this method makes them smooth and it just feels better that cutting, I do tend to pull dead skin off my nails this will help me stop that so thank you so much :-)
Thank you for stopping by! The only real suggestion I can provide would be to use a good base and top coat. These two help me protect my nails. When I have bare nails, they always break and crack so I make sure to always have something on them, even just base and top coat. Try this out, let me know if it works for you :)
Very helpful video for a nice manicure. I love it. And I had never thought of using pure acetone, but the fact that you are not rubbing your nails so much, sounds like it would be beneficial to get the polish of quickly without all the rubbing.
I have to add that i would never file away the sides. My nails are super strong with the sides and the natural growth of the nail plate is sqaure. Very little filing this way.
My nails are really strong so I try to prevent getting my nails professional done because I know that my products are clean and sanitary so that works best for me. I only use a glass nail file and once a week I do my nail care routine because it gives them a chance to settle once Ive done the work and always moisturising is good especially before you go to bed.
Yes, this video is so nice...soothing and comfortably paced...I don't mind the length at all. Makes for a great nail buddy when the only time you have to do your nails is at 3am, lol!! Thanks, eunique nails, for sharing!!
the brush tip is really helpful for me I ALWAYS get nail polish on my cuticles and i just keep trying to remove it with my nails under the water which really makes my cuticles look very very bad ..thats a really cool trick am definitely gonna try it !!! and also I ve been using sweet almond oil on my cuticles for 2 months now and omg it really made a huge difference for my cuticles now they are really soft , try using it twice a day and it will really does help :)
If you wouldnt continue to brush over the polish after your 3 main strokes your polish wont become as "streaky". By doing that your pulling up the polish that has begun to dry.
a lovely tutorial. I had no idea that polish on fingernails could last so long. I stopped wearing it on my hands for that reason. btw your voice is soooo soothing that I started falling asleep twice. You'd be a fabulous at voice overs or meditation vid ; )
beautiful nails!! I also, use pure acetone is just quicker.. just like you said I moisturise afterwards so, is okay:) What color are you wearing? If you dont mind sharing
I do occasionally patch my nails- really when there is a crack very close to the free edge and the nail bed. I don't have a problem with my nails being short, I prefer them that length. Once the patched part grows out I keep them short. Thanks for watching!!
The ONLY nail file you should use, is the crystal glass file!!! As for cuticles: after a shower, use your towel to gently push them back! The Swiss nail company, MAVALA, has EVERYTHING you need for beautiful nails!!
After I wrote that comment, I found something!! I was at Publix (our local grocery store in the south) and in the health/beauty section was hanging: "Moisturizing hand gloves by Earth Therapeutics" They are specially designed for you to lather your hands and nails at night and out the gloves on to keep the moisture in all night. Been using 3-nights now, and they are heaven sent! Google the name and maybe you can find a pair. They were about $3 for 1 pair. Let me know if you want a picture.
From reading around, I'm pretty sure that pushing your cuticles back is okay, as it doesn't cause damage and keeps them from getting messy looking. Cutting cuticles, on the other hand, is a practice that can be detrimental to your nail health, for the reasons you stated above. :) While everyone has their own opinions, I'm positive that pushing back your cuticles is not bad for your nails.
You can remove your cuticle, not your eponychium. The eponychium is what you're talking about. Cuticle literally means dead tissue, and it's the white fluffy stuff that comes off. The eponychium should only be pushed back very gently, and not scraped or cut. Cuticle adheres the proximal and lateral folds of the nail down over the matrix, where your nail comes from.
Great video! I love the length of your nails here. Mine are pretty long right now and I totally can't type, haha...do you ever patch your nails.? I currently have two, but they are not working quite the way I would like. I think I'll cut them down, especially after seeing your beautiful nails :-)
I take a supplement called biotin. It is in most muti-vitamins, but the bottle I have just says "Biotin" and it says it improves hair, skin, & nails. Been using it for a year and I notice a huge difference especially in how strong my hair is. Just a thought =)
Great video! Very helpful! I tried to find the buffing block on eBay however I only found for acrylic nails.. :\ and none for natural nails. What grit does it have to be to use it on natural nails please? :)
I've heard the best time to apply the cuticle oil is at night before bed. The thing is, it's oily and I am afraid to get it all over my pillow. I want to use the oil, but too afraid to get the oil on my pillow or sheets and then get the oil on my face or hair. Any suggestions?
Those cuts look like they hurt. Yikes, nail polish remover on top of that! If I get a cut near my cuticles or nail beds, I use Q-Tipps to remove the polish.
Your nail length would be perfect for me but they break every time they get to the tip. I also have the same issues with the cuticles. Any suggestions? I don't like anything to long for the same reason b/c I am at the computer a lot and I have a little one to take care of. New subscriber. :o)
if you were to let "regular" polish remover sit on the nail about 5-10 seconds and wipe down [not side to side] it would work thats actually what you're supposed to do with ANY polish remover.
WOW. You have to have the most gentle and relaxing voice I’ve ever heard. I swear I could listen to you reading the phone book and I’d be relaxed. Lovely video, very helpful. Thank You.xxx
Because of the length of this video I saved it to watch it when I was doing my Sunday manicure 💅🏽. Very good video worth every minute.

Enjoying some me time on this hot and lazy Sunday...Love to still come back to this video for some relaxing company! Hope all is well with you!
I've been asked for quite a while now for a "detailed" nail video, that is the reason for the lengthy video.
Death by acetone. Can you imagine? Somebody call the aspca. I'm just playing girl. Your nails are perfection; long nail beds, beautifully arched, and a c-curve to die for.
I really just liked your natural nails .. great tutorial 👍
wow, this video was crazy. so in-depth! i just stopped biting my nails very recently so ive been looking for things to do to nurse my fingers back to health. thanks for the video!
I've been pretty fortunate not to have any problems with metal nail files. I've been using them for over 15 years without any issues :)

this tutorial is GREAT...i'd like to ask you, could I use vazeline instead of cuticle softener?
I always use vaseline! It's great!
ooh...great!! thanks a lot :) !!
ΙΩΑΝΝΑ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΙΟΥ your welcome!
the way to obtain healthy nails and fingertips is: never cut never push your cuticles which protect your nails and fingers from bacteria..

I don't take any vitamins, although I should :). Thanks, I like this length too. Right now they are super long-can't wait to chop-chop!
This video was the bomb, very helpful. Thank u
Long video but great
I'm afraid of the same thing. I usually rub in the oil very well until it's absorbed completely.
%100 jojoba oil is the best i've found you'll know its pure because it wont leave any residue,i use it before bed!!
you have pretty nails

Which body butter did you use? Is it Tree Hut?

very informative...thanks

One time i used a metal nail file and as i went to get the sides of my nail it sliced my skin like a knife! Blood went everywhere... Never again
Thank you! :)
love it
Very informative and helpful! =)
Great video :)
I made it to 32 seconds 'Adds to watch later list'

44:11 true?
seche vite isnt a brand. its seche. Vite in some language means fast which is why the top coat is called seche vite. but the actual brand is seche
how often you do this routine?
Your hands are similar to mine.
I like :)
44:12..............
