bit of info: your nails are made of keratin in a weave type pattern, when you go back and forth while filing it ruins the weave type pattern and can fray the nail, which can cause splitting, peeling and cracking. when you file in one direction it helps the weave pattern stay "in sync" and not break and everything.
@@Myricle12 only if u use a crystal or glass nail file if you use an emery board you will seperate the layers of nails if go bk n forth hence the peeling splitting etc. I only use crystal for this reason and never get peeling etc
@@Myricle12 so those that use cheap sandpaper emeryboards will still have peeling splitting etc. Good luck to them. No point using products if you file with a rubbish file. Cyrstal all the way with never any peeling or flaking
@@pamperedpolishes 5:37 I have never removed my cuticles in my life and likely never will as I don't have any problem with them growing beyond the *proximal nail fold* to where they are visible. I will say that your method with the orange stick is by far the best technique I've seen and I've watched several dozen even from nail technicians. Nice form.
@@pamperedpolishes 18:08 Likely the reason it pops off is because you didn't prep the nail plate by wiping with acetone to remove the residual surface oil from your cuticle oil, cuticle balm, and petrolatum based moisturizer.
I have managed to make Unt peel-off base coat last more than ONE WEEK. I figured the secret though: top coat must encapsulate the polish (that is, go nearer the cuticle line than the actual polish). That way it's kind of sealed in and... it has worked perfectly for me. I also noticed that polish formula has an influence on how easily UNT manicures pop off. Heavy pixie dusts will literally pop, while creams and foils are much more difficult to remove.
I really loved this video, girl! You have beautiful nails with or without polish! It scares me with some of our similar passions. No matter what, like you, I always wear at least a base coat on my nails to protect them, and shielding them from... life!😉 I use Bliss Kiss products, and have seen a tremendous difference in how healthy they’ve become even with me having to take a lot of medication. For the first time, I can honestly say that I am loving & enjoying my medium to long nails-( for me at least :) Thanks for sharing your personal nail care routine!🌷
Use Essie base coat then UNT peel off base coat. It helps the polish stays so much longer. A couple of days for me. Then it comes off easily with polish remover.
Thsnks so much, really informative. I didn't realize my cuticle went up to the sides of the nail, I feel really silly because I have hang nails so often and now I know what to do so ty.
Hi, Have you tried Bliss Kiss’s nail and cuticle oils? They’re literally my go to cuticle oils since I’ve had such great results with my nails growing stronger and more healthy in general. I love a lot of their other products too like their lotion and lip balm sticks, and their acetone additive and cuticle remover. It’s similar to Sally’s but is less viscous, so it doesn’t move around the nail or skin too much. It pretty stays where you put it which is better for our skin since it does have lye in it (you probably already know that all cuticle removers have lye as their caustic agent remover that separates the cuticle from the nail, but it’s corrosive on skin too unfortunately). Love watching you swatch videos, and you are usually the main swatcher whom I look at before making a decision on whether o get a particular polish or not. Love watching the videos of you interacting with your son too, super cute!!! Bye! 🙋🏻♀️💜💅🏼😊
You have very nice healthy nails. You said you made your own oil? I have a question. The bottle you put the oil in . With that a old bottle? How did you clean it ? I try cleaning my old bottle with acetone and my brush got really hard lol. And it wasn’t 100% acetone
Have you tried Lucky 13's pop and peel base coat? It's the only peel off base coat I've tried, but from what I have heard it is longer lasting than the UNT base coat. I will admit though that I am a major nail picker so peel off base coats are not ideal for me because as soon as I get any weird lifting edge I peel all those suckers right off.

Ty!
I really love the "Burts Bees Cuticle Cream" for a drugstore option. I have never tried a mani bomb but I really want to.
Oh, they're fantastic! I heard they're relatively easy to make, too. But who has time for that! Haha. I,A.M...Custom Color sells them super cheap!
@@pamperedpolishes I own Beauty Secrets brand Cuticle Oil and I love the scent

Lush's Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter is amazing - it somehow even managed to repair a damaged nail bed of mine.

Do you not prep the nails before applying base coat? Some people recommend dehydrators after using oils and such to make the mani last longer.
I used hands and nail cream which is good for nails and cuticle oil with a base coat you should try it it promotes nail growth

Can you do a video on the mani bomb? I haven't heard of that before!
LA Gear is a good brand as well as OPI Nail Envy
Love this video!!😍😍😍 Can you make a updated nail care routine??

I never use cuticle remover; only cuticle oil. And I use cuticle scissors because I know how to use them! 😊☺️

I haven't tried it but I'm interested! UNT only lasts about 8 hours for me. Very annoying
Hi. Seeing you love the Jamberry Lacquer, have you tried their hand and nail care products?
Family Photo Restoration - Perth hey! I sure have! I have an entire review of their nail care items on my instagram!
I made my own cuticle oil for my nails
Can u try sally Hansen cuticle eraser balm and do a review on it PLEASE
I tried it. But i really didn't like it. I love burt's bees cuticle cream!
Thank you! I’m learning so much from your videos! Keep up the great work! I wanted to know what the stuff was in that Halloween bag..??

I watched The Whole video to see how you clean around your cuticles after polishing... most people don’t stop after a base coat 🙁

Cause she only showed doing 4 fingers. Still needed to do her thumb and the 5 on the other hand.
I have never seen the nail file she uses
Its a crystal glass nail file.
Neha did she mention where she got it?
