Please find the English discription in the discription box | රූස්ස පොල් ගස්වල හෙවනයි වැලි පසයි නිසා අපේ ගේ තියන ඉඩමෙ හැම එළවලුවක්ම වැවෙන්න තරම් ⁣හොඳ වටපිටාවක් නෑ. ඒත් ලොකු අම්මලයි කොරටුව තියෙන කලුමූකලාන කැලේ අයිනෙ තියෙන ඉඩම එහෙම නෑ. රතු පාට සරු පස. තෙතමනයතත් අඩුවක් නෑ. ලොකු තාත්තයි, ලොකු අම්මයි, අපේ මල්ලියි තමයි කොරටුවෙ එළවලු වවන්නෙ. වැටකොලු, පතෝල, කරිවිල, වට්ටක්කා, කැකිරි, පුහුල්, මෑ, දඹල, රාබු, තලන බටු, වම්බටු, තිබ්බටු, ඉන්නල, බණ්ඩක්කා, තක්කාලි, අමුමිරිස්, කොච්ච් මිරිස්, හැම දේම ටික ටික හරි වවල තියෙනවා.
මං වම්බටු ටිකක් කඩන්න කියල කොරටුවට ගියෙ දවල්ට කාපු ගමන්, ඒත් කොහෙද, ලොකු අම්මලයි දිහා ගිහින් නංගිත් එක්ක කතාවට වැටුනම දන්නෙම නැතුව හැන්දෑ වුනා. ඇඳිරි වැටෙන්න කලින් කඩාගෙන ආවත් වම්බටු වැඩිය රෑට කන්න හොඳ නැති නිසා රෑ වේලට වම්බටු හැදුවෙ නැතුව පහුවෙනිද දවාලට කන්න මොනව හරි හදන්න හිතුවා.
වම්බටු වල ඇඟ සීතල කරන ගතිය වැඩි නිසා රෑට හරි, වැහි දවස්වලට හරි වම්බටු කෑවොත් ඇගේ වාතය කිපිලා සෙම් රෝග හැදෙන්න පුලවන්. ඒ හින්දා අත්තම්ම නම් රෑ කෑමට වම්බටු හදල තිබුනත් කන එකක් නම් නෑ. පෙලක් වෙලාවට වම්බටු වෑංජනයක් විදියට හරි තෙලට හරි හදද්දි බල කරවල කෑල්ලක්, වේලිච්ච ඉස්සො ටිකක් වගේ එකතු කරගන්නෙ රස වැඩි වෙන්න විතරක්ම නෙවෙයි. ඉස්සන්ගෙයි බලයා ගෙයි තියෙන උෂ්න ගතියෙන් වම්බටු වල තියෙන සීත ගතිය සමතුලිත කරන නිසයි.
ඉතින් පහුවෙනිදා දවල් කෑමට මම වම්බටු හතරට පලල ගෙඩි පිටින් වෑංජනයක් කිරි හිඳෙන්න හදල ගත්තා. ඒකට නම් මල්ලි ගොඩක්ම ආසයි. ඊට අමතරව රතු අල වෑංජනේකුයි, රාබු අලයි කොලයි එකට දාපු මැල්ලුමකුයි, පරිප්පු ⁣හොද්ද තරමක් හිඳෙන්න හදල ඒකට ⁣ලූණු මිරිස් තෙම්පරාදුවකුත් එකතු කරල දවල් කෑම මේසෙ සම්පූර්ණ කරගත්තා. වැඩේ කියන්නෙ මට කෑම මේසේ සම්පූර්ණයි කියල හිතුනට අපේ මල්ලිට එහෙම හිතල නැනෙ. එයා බතුත් බෙදාගෙන ඉවර වෙලා තමයි කියන්නෙ "කාරල්ලෙකුත් බැදල තිබ්බ නම්....." කියල. අනේ ඉතින් එහෙම කියද්දි කොයි අක්කගෙද හිත උණුවෙන්නැත්තෙ. හොඳ වෙලාවට කලින් සුද්ද කරල හෝදල වේලපු කාරල්ලො කරවල දුමේ අරන්තියල තිබුනෙ. මල්ලි කිව්වත් වගේ බැදපු කාරල්ලොයි මිරිස් කරලකුයි එක්ක බත් කටක් කද්දි තමයි ඒ බත් කට සම්පූර්ණයි කියල දැනෙන්නෙ.
වම්බටු ටිකක් නැහැමින් කඩන් ආව නිසා මං හිතුව ටික දවසක් අරන් තියාගෙන කන්නත් එක්ක වම්බටු මෝජුවක් හදන්න. මේ කෑම අපේ රටට පුරුදු වුනේ මැලේ ජාතියෙන් කියලයි විශ්වාස කරන්නෙ. මොකද විනාකිරෙන් තම්බල අරන් අච්චාරු දාල කල් තියාගන්න විදියෙ සම්ප්‍රදායක් අතීතයෙ ඉඳලම තිබුනත් තෙලෙන් බැදල අරන් මේ විදියට කල් තියාගන්න ක්‍රමයක් අපේ ඉවුම් පිහුම් සම්ප්‍රදායට එකතුවෙලා තියෙන්නෙ නම් තරමක් ලඟකදි තමයි. කහයි ලුණුයි මුසු කරගත්ත වතුරෙ පොඟවපු තීරු කපා ගත්ත කපාපු වම්බටු කෑලි ගැඹුරු තෙලේ බැදල, ඒකටම රතුළුෑණුයි අමුමිරිසුයි, හාල් මැස්සොයිත් බැදල දාගෙන අඹරගත්ත අබ, විනාකිරි එක්ක පදමට මිශ්‍රකරල හදාගන්න රසම රස වම්බටු මෝජුව අපේ රටේ දානෙ ගෙදරක, මගුල් මේසෙක වරදින්නෙම නැ. ඒ තරමටම මේ රහ අපේ රටේ හැම කෙනෙක්ගෙම ආසම රහවල් අතර තියෙන රහක්.
අයියෝ, ඒක නෙවෙයිනෙ මං කියන්න ගියෙ. තව පොඩ්ඩෙන් ඒක අමතක වෙනවා. අපේ මල්ලිත් ඔය වම්බටුයි, බතලයි, සුදුළූණුයි, මිරිසුයි මොන මොනවද ජාති පුච්චල අරගෙන කෑමක් හදද්දි, ඒ අතරෙදි මං මෝජු හදන්න ඇවිත් ලිප ඉල්ලුව කියල ඔය මූන එල්ලගෙන යන්න ගියෙ. එයා ඒ හදන ජාතිය තනියම කනව කියලත් කිව්වෙ. වැඩේ කියන්නෙ කිව්ව වගේම මේං මෙයා මට පේන්න කුස්සිය අද්දරටම ඇවිත් තනියම කෑව නේන්නං. උපන්දා ඉඳලම මං දන්නවනෙ. ඔය කිව්වට අපේ මල්ලි එහෙම නෑ. ඒත් මං හිතුව තරම් ඉක්මණට නම් එයා හදපුව මට කන්න දුන්නෙ නෑ. ඒත් අන්තිමේදි ඔය "අක්කේ...." කියාගෙන උස්සන් ආවෙ. අපරාදෙ කියන්න බෑ, මාලුමිරිස් පුරවල හදපු ඒ කෑම නම් හරිම රසයි. මොන ලෝකෙද අනේ මල්ලිලාට අක්කලත් එක්ක තරහ වෙලා ඉන්න පුලුවන්? ඒත් ඉතින් අක්කලටත් මල්ලිල නැතුව බැනෙ. ඒකනෙ මං ටක් ගාල තේකක් හදල දුන්නෙ 😊

I just love your videos. I am so amazed how you cut things with your large knife! And you even peel potatoes 🥔 with it. You are so talented and brave. I love ❤️ your open house. Are there no doors that you lock at night? I really enjoy your brother cooking. In Texas what he cooked is called chili rellenos. We stuff them with a cheese 🧀 mixture or a meat mixture as your brother did. Our batter has mostly eggs and spices in it. You separate the eggs and whip up the whites till they look like whipped cream. Then you beat up the egg yolks and add spices. Then you gently fold them together and dip your peppers 🌶 omit and fry them. They are served with a red sauce. This is a Tex-Mex dish here

oh in eastern europe we also roast eggplant, we peel it and then make a salad with mashed eggplant, oil, salt and small chopped onion. we eat the salad on sliced bread, sometimes we add fresh tomatoes on top, mmm yummy :))
