Like I said I didn't have that problem with mine but I swapped out the receiver and the remote it was good to see you narrowed it down to the remote. I just wanted to have AVC and I have everything bound to the DX5C. Turn the punch level up and it will be a different beast mine backflipped from a start on 7! With Spektrum packs lol.
I change the radio in my Arrma's, put in a TQI RX with TSM, can use it or not as required, not had any radio problems on my Arrma bashers. good to see your process to find out what's up.

Hi earl, with the changes you made in this video I find the exact same setup I have on my fireteam, same radio, which I would say is much better, the only thing, I mounted a max6 combo.. an animal🤣, the the only substantial difference from the fireteam was in the position of the batteries, I widened the track with 1.3 cm spacers.. I feel great... Aside from the machine gun that I took off🤣🤣🤣 congratulations for your videos, you're the my guru!! Thank you!!! I follow you from Italy
@@earlmoorhead5555 yes I know.. but by feel with the 4985.. it seems to go more fluid.. then I burned out my signature ESC after a while.. so I opted for this combo..
What I’ve noticed about setting endpoints on various RCs is that when you lock settings in turn off and on the steering travel reduces a bit so I’ve overshot it a bit while doing endpoints to compensate…. Just a thought works for me 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Good to know that the Pro Moto DX3 will not bind to other receivers the same as a regular DX3. People buying these transmitters on eBay for use in other applications might be disappointed!
May b lil late to the game but check cap pack or esc I have had both cause this it’s like it’s causing moter to brake or even go into rev 🤷♂️ sometimes I have been able to use esc for smaller moter & this problem subsided but whereas this is new something not okay need to try diff esc cause it doesn’t seem to b radio prob
My best guess is theres something wrong with the STL 3 on some bigrocks. Its like when you let go of full throttle the trigger engages brake. Imo its a receiver issue
oh yeah and this one time, at bandcamp, i used a SLT3 radio on the new Kraton 4S for no good reason and i couldn't get it to center the servo to save my life. DX3? poof done.

My o8s did it too I think I couldn’t remember which rc I had that happened but I think it was from using hobby wing card or its like you said faulty controller. I have a bad controller at work and I’ll never rack my brain when it comes to this modern technology and controllers are involved. Here this controller may just need a better controller and receiver .
I will not be surprised if it is that controller! It appears to be sending mixed or corrupted signal to the receiver, causing the esc to act like Guy drives sometimes... I hope I didn't just type that... Geez, I can be such an "Andy" sometimes... :) (hole:)
tbh i think it's Spektrum ESC firmware that sucks. for a troubleshooting step i recommend sticking one of your HobbyWing ESCs in to it and leaving EVERYTHING else the same. Since at LEAST the VORTEKS, their software is bleh. IMO Spektrum doesn't have a good handle on things from this level. it's one of the most fundamental things to get correct. it's the tuning language for most if not all electric vehicles. i can confirm BIGROCK 6S does NOT have this issue with the DX3. i've used the same DX3 radio since it came with one of my Kraton V5s. so i have at least a dozen SLTs in their packaging. 🤣 Again, i think it's a FIRMA ESC software issue, personally.
@@earlmoorhead5555well not necessarily. wait. do you have another receiver to try? like the SR6200A that comes with the Vorteks? it's one of their best receivers though i have no idea why it came oem on that model but i picked up a couple extra. the latency is pretty low too.
@rogueFactor I have a new avc 6100 avc receiver as I feel that might hide the issue seeing a glitch it will correct the issue and I might try that as well tomorrow

One real bad tail landing and that beautiful Ford inspired body is a goner. I just see a bad investment… I’m holding out with my $700 for sure. Thanks once again bro…
I think the ESC is the problem I don't think it's the receiver I think it's the did you think about it is the when you let off the gas it should not break it had to be something that I'm done to Arrma to the ESC I do not know what it is but it is definitely something breaking real heart and I think make mess up the disc rc front or back 🤔🤨
seems like Arrma likes to let its customers do there testing I hate that I wont buy anything unless its a version 3 4 or even better 5 buy then they call it a exb up the price and sell a working rc just my opinion

You know this esc is a max6 rebranded right ? Reprogrammed and locked at 6s maybe a max8
