Thank you, Mickey from Nijmegen, NL. I find each video a relief among all the others because you explain everything so calmly and literally show every aspect of the subject.

Great to hear! I hoped it didn’t get to long and drawn out covering all the options and demos. Thanks for the comment.

Great tutorial Mickey, just like every serious tutorial should be. Everything is very well explained, and several examples are given on how it can be applied and used. I really love your presentation style. I know some people, in today's fast-paced world, might complain about the length of the video, but those who genuinely want to learn-not just move sliders mechanically, but understand both how and WHY something is done and who want to gain a deeper understanding-will be thrilled with your tutorial just like I am. I'm not a beginner; I've been using Lr for over ten years, but new tools are constantly being added that improve it, and this is the only way to truly understand them and know how to use them in the best way. I wish you to continue this way and hope that every video will have the same content and structure. Great job, keep going. I cant wait for new things like this. Best regards! 🤩🤩🤩

Thanks. You sound like me…a long time user of Lightroom but still learning with each new upgrade or release. Thanks so much for you comments.

Glad you liked it! I hope it helps out. Haven't really found a real boring issue to use this feature. But you never know. Thanks for the comment!

I am glad that I found your channel. Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge.
Question please: the "boost" slider doesn't appear to do anything. According to the Adobe, boost "Lets you adjust the brightness of out-of-focus light sources in the imag." I don't see any effect of this slider at all. Do you know how it affects the image please?

Thanks for your note and question. The boost slider is to boost your bokeh. If you don’t have much or any bokeh in your photo, you really wont see much effect when moving the slider. The best thing to do is to find a photo that has noticeable bokeh and then crank the boost slider up and back. Then you will see the change. Typically most photos don’t have much bokeh so you won’t see much difference when using the slider. But when you do have a good representation of bokeh you will notice the changes. Also, try it with different bokeh types. Some show up more prominently than others when using the boost slider.
Thanks for the question. I hope the answer helps you out.
