The spirited Western stars Kevin Kline, Scott Glenn, Kevin Costner, and Danny Glover as four unwitting heroes who cross paths on their journey to the sleepy town of Silverado. Little do they know the town where their family and friends reside has been taken over by a corrupt sheriff and a murderous posse. It's up to the sharp-shooting foursome to save the day, but first they have to break each other out of jail, and learn who their real friends are.

One of my favorite Westerns.
A great movie.

My favourite spoof film of all time. Very good, very funny. All the best scenes from previous westerns sent up brilliantly.
Just about every cliche' in the book, and all executed brilliantly.
"spoof"? Aeroplane/ Naked Gun were spoofs. This is a western. Lighthearted maybe, but a western, and not a comedy.
Formulae and stereotypes can work so well! Genius film carried off brilliantly with an all star cast!
I say that this is a mixture of different westerns like 4 in 1 🤠🤠🤠🤠
Paden and Jake breaking out jail was hilarious 😂
Theres nothing as wild as TheWild Bunch.

Kevin Kline should have lost the beard for this role. He looks like a crazed mountain man
I think that was (with the black hat) make you wonder if he was a really a G00D Guy
He wasn't a totally good guy. But he was a damn side better than the people he killed

@@denisjl100 sucked is pretty hard. I should say ‘highly disappointing’ only because (given the talent behind the camera and in front of it) I felt like I was watching a handful of Hollywood actors on a bad set given cliched dialog done many times before and better. Compare it to OPEN RANGE where the script and dialog was phenomenal, the sets and location believable, and I didn’t feel like I was watching Robert Duvall and Kevin Costner but Boss Spearman and Charlie Wade…
@@yourthaiguy like i said those are the opinions that we are entitled to. i like both movies. the lines in one and the cinematography in the other and costner in both. location for silverado were in the states and open range were in canada. both great.
