this album is such a masterpiece! it made my life so much better, i remember i was in a car trying to sleep and I listened your album for the first time and then I woke up in the final song and I was WOW.. I MUST BUY THIS. And it was what I did! Now I have your cd blowing up in my car everyday, everytime, such great music to trip everywhere :D And to finish, I must say you're an incredible drummer, your style is so important for your band sounding what it sounds, definitely, for me, you're one of the best drummer in the scene! Please keep up the amazing work and keep inspiring people like me, your music has changed my view of music for life and I play guitar for about 10 years, the only bands that made me think that was Tool and Northlane. Wow, I'm humbled, Hugo. It's awesome to hear that anything I've done musically has hit someone on such a deep level. That was kind of how I felt when I got into Tool :) Danny Carey is still one of my biggest inspirations behind the kit. This guy has... no, this guy *is* groove. The groove in person. I've seen and heard many drummers in the progressive scene, but Ben beats them all in my opinion. Wow...
This hits such a sweet spot between intensity and groove (fast strokes, yet tasteful pauses), and technicality and emotion (complex without being dry). Rare to see. It's just... art.

I am laying in bed in the dark, and I have my settings on auto play. This song came on and I have my eyes closed. I thought immediately, "Jesus Christ, I never realized the drums were mixed so crisply and prominently on this track!" 🙄 Dur.

Not only great drumming, but amazing composition. This guy makes the drums fit so well in to the songs. Kind of what Gavin Harrison does with Porcupine Tree. Truly unique styles.

Earthside is a massive breath of fresh air in the metal genre. If I had to describe their music in one word, it would be CLEAN. Clean lyrics, clean tracks, clean mixes, clean performances. So in love with each mix on the album!

That was incredible. I am not a drummer, but an older dude who appreciates the groove you show in your music. This playthrough was fun to watch both from a, "how did he do that?" sense, but also from a passion for your craft angle. You seamlessly blend the sound and style of two of my favorite drummers (Daniel Liljekvist formerly of Katatonia, and Gavin Harrison). I hope that sounds like a compliment because I certainly mean it so. I am so glad that I found you guys here at the end of 2015. I will be a paying customer, fan, and follower of your band for a hopefully long and successful career. Cheers!

Awesome job with the album, guys. I stumbled upon it randomly two days ago. Got one of my mates hooked on the album yesterday, and bought it on iTunes today. Whole album is really solid, and coming from someone who typically doesn't pay much attention to the drums... Ben did a fantastic job adding some special magic to the tracks.
