I agree 100%. She was simply unstoppable as an artist-no matter if she was being recognized yet or not, she kept on going driven by her insatiable passion for art.
Viva Carmen Herrera! Talented work full of purpose and intellect! Some make it early, some make it late and some not at all. I’m glad for her, that the fruits of her labor were recognized before her passing. Bitter sweet but also self affirming before death. Acceptance is everything for artist close to all never get it.
WOW. She is a new one to me. A strong and elegant beauty to the work. Love the crossing the line with two- and three-dimensional work. The 'estructuras' amazing. Wonder if she was known by the Vogels.
Wow! Great works and sensibility of geometric shapes. It reminds me both Ellsworth Kelly, that I admire and inspires me, and Blinky Palermo that I beleave has been a little underestimated trough times! Nice video as always anyway.
I couldn't agree more on Blinky Palermo-such a tragedy he passed away too soon. His work and contribution to art in just 15 years are incredible. His friends Knoebel and Richter are omnipresent today but in my opinion Blinky was the most talented one of the trio. What could have been... Thank you for tuning in and for the interesting comment!
She's got a perfect sense of shape and counter-shape! Thanks for sharing!
Absolutely, pure talent! Thank you for tuning in
@@contemporaryartissue your most welcome!
