Diffently like the sound on them! did found a shop her in Denmark that sell alot of Quad's recivers and speakers, and diffently been looking intro S1 or the S2 I think I would move over the S2 since I have a 30m2 living room for them to be in. Mostly listen to Jazz and blues and Soul / soul rock so more, cant wait to save up for thies.
any chance you could demo the S2s with some black or death metal? I mostly play jazz or metal, and a bit of rock/alternative in between, and would love to know how they handle aggressive music.
Lovely setup. Can you comment why do you chose Gold Note PH10 vs some of Rega phono stage like Aria? What is Your Feedback on GN PH10. I’m currently in the search for a perfect match to my Rega P6 with Ania cartrige. Appreciate your feedback.
Thanks, simply don’t have a Rega Aria on demo at the moment. Will be adding a mk3 soon. Aria certainly won’t disappoint with the Ania MC, it’s a great sounding unit and natural partner. The Gold Note PH10 is pretty special though and with the optional upgrade path of PSU, although that is of course all together a completely different price bracket than Aria (on its own it’s about €600 more). PH10 is so useful to have in the shop for the convenience of on the fly gain & EQ settings and being able to quickly switch between two connected turntables fitted with whatever cartridges. I’d highly recommend the Heed Quasar III too as the best I’ve heard under €1k, it’s fantastic value, and cartridge matching is no problem
I run S2's with a Schiit Vidar and it is an absolute knock out and there the bass is strong, taught and unbelievably deep for such a small speaker.
I've just watched/listened to this 3 times back to back. Sounds/looks lovely!

Yes lovely speakers, definitely go for the S2 over the S1 for that size room!
I love my solus speaks
? 🤔
I have the Artera Solus Play and S1s, but I am slightly regretting not getting S2s
Understandable! What size is the room?
@@blueskymusica about 20m2
@@onthebeachinsitges S1’s should be enough, but maybe a smallish sub like a Rel T5 or even a couple of T-zeros would be ideal if you want more weight
@@blueskymusica thank you
What is the model of the lamp showed, it's so unique
It's from Studio Cheha, look up bulbing-light dot com

Why is the left speaker whiteout high‘s ? Left tweeter defect?
Don't think it's any kind of defect. I'll have to listen to the vinyl again on another system but think it's just how it's recorded.
