i know this review is 7 years old, but thanks so much! i was just looking for a best budget guitar capo that *doesnt look bulky* and this is just it! also nice beard bro
A great capo. A little tip, when not using it, you can place it on the strings just beyond the nut (on the headstock) with just enough tension to secure it.
Tony, I play a T5 and this is a great capo because you can set the tension just enough to fret clean and not pull the strings out of tune. The Kyser just has too much pressure and bends the T5 out of tune. Love this capo.
This Capo is really good I used it for 2 years then I lost it in a gig, so I went online and I found also an amazing Planet Waves capo: (NS Tri-Action Capo) amazing capo you should give it a try Tony.
I just got one of these. I already had the original aluminum NS Pro capo, and it is better than the NS Lite. I have nothing in principle against a plastic capo, and I wanted it to be great, but it is noticeably a fair bit larger than the NS Pro (especially the part of the capo that presses against the back of the neck, as well as the thumbscrew, which is enormous compared to the one on the NS Pro) and the threads on the screw are not as smooth. It is indeed a little lighter than the NS Pro though - about 1/10th of a gram lighter. :P I would say go with the NS Capo Pro instead if you like this design (It's still an inexpensive capo, even compared to a Shubb or a Kyser), unless you are buying a whole bunch of them as backups like this video suggests.
I thought maybe you were going to show us how to make a capo from a Dasani can... a survival capo! In any case, nice product placement, it made me thirsty :)
Thanks, for the review, most helpful, also your guitar has an in hole pickup, what brand/ model is it, and where is the cord,I didn`t see it hanging out in front ? Thanks, Philip.
I got this capo last month because it was the cheapest they had even though it was still pretty expensive. My only issue with it is there doesn't seem to be any easy way to replace the rubber. I'm used to a standard screw capo and buying new rubber when it wears out. On this the rubber seems thin and impossible to replace which is quite confusing.
it seems to work great. Such a pity I had bought a D'addario capo before seen this video, which it looks just like this one, but it is such a waste of money.

3:19 - So if it's not not a good thing, then it is a good thing. :) Sorry. Couldn't resist. Thanks for the video.

I bought mine online, it was a little bent so when i put it on my it dont press down the 3rd string, i clamped it to the limit but still buzzing
I just got one and it digs into the rubber..not over torque..just enuf to ring out all strings..
Wld this work on both electric and acoustic? I have a parlor guitar. TY!

My favourite is the SHUBB for some good reasons.
Cap..... ( like you would wear on your head ) O , Not cape...O, where's the "E" Capo
G7 all the way.
this capo is garbage. I clamped it just hard enough and when I went to take it off the screw came off... and the capo was stuck on the neck.. yikes...
