According to Gavin Sutherland, this wasn't the Faces backing Rod, but the Sutherland Brothers & Quiver during a session at Morgan Studios shortly before Rod left to live in the United States. Tim Renwick is on his Stratocaster (recognisable immediately from the solo at the end), Iain Sutherland (who wrote the song) is on acoustic, Peter Wood is on Hammond, Gavin is on bass and Willie Wilson is on drums. Around that time, Stewart was looking at a couple of songs written by Gavin & Iain for his solo album, Atlantic Crossing. The track was released on an album by Warners, attributed to the Faces in error.
