This is what we all want. An intense match is always enjoyable, no matter who won, no matter if US won again. Both teams are pushing their limits. Roller coaster, turn of events. Very unpredictable that anything could happen, destroying the expectation of many. Undoubtedly the best match of the owc history, well at least for me.

best match i ever watched since 2015. every player popped off on their skillset, nothing was predictable. sadly sk did not get winner's crown, and their roster is gonna be bit different next year. but i always believe they will find the way as always, and making most intensive winners/losers run.
Insane that the usa team that is considered the worst since 2017 is still winning owc against the best Australia team ever, the best Philippines team ever, arguably the best Korea team ever, and great Canada, Germany, and Poland teams.

guys, I don’t understand why they ended up playing 2 matches? This hasn't happened before, or am I being stupid?
because usa was in the losers bracket so they have to win 2 times (because they already lost in the winners bracket) so they have to compensate for that loss

It happened last year as well. If you go onto grand finals from the winners bracket all you need to do is win 1 series whereas the team from losers bracket has to win 2 series in a row.

It's a double elimination tournament. You have to lose 2 matches before you're out. US already lost and got sent to losers bracket. SK came in with 0 lost matches and entered from winners.
So if SK wins then US lost twice and is eliminated, SK wins tourney.
If US wins, SK only lost once and US has to win again for SK's seconds lost and for them to be eliminated and for US to win the tourney.
Man Restia left the lobby immediately after that replica pick :(
