Thank you for the update Lauren. I think it is fair to say non of us would know how we would respond or react to such a situation so you are right to say people should not judge. Each and every person had their own set of circumstances and as you say some were not at home at the time, some had little notice to leave, or the practicalities of moving livestock etc. My heart goes out to the people as it is heart breaking to hear things are developing so rapidly there and not only is there a potential to lose your home, but your pets, livestock and any wildlife that inhabits the area too. So sad to hear this.
Yes that's a great way of putting it Susan, every person had their own set of circumstances. I've just read in the news that there is currently a risk assessment being carried out to determine whether or not residents can go home today for a very short amount of time to gather necessities, so there is a tiny bit of hope that they'll be able to rescue their pets today! Keeping fingers crossed for them 🤞
@@LoppyLoves While safety must come first in what sounds like an ever changing and developing situation, I do hope there is an opportunity to rescue them. 🤞
