I truly enjoyed this! I have discovered that I really enjoy watching you paint things. That may sound dull, but visually speaking, it's not! It's just part of restoring or creating, so I tend to really love that sort of thing. This was a fun video, and I'd love to see you doing a few more of these every now and then. I know that this is a toy restoration kind of channel, but sometimes seeing some customizing and modifying of things can be a great deal of fun! Thanks again for delivering great channel content!
He looks absolutely WICKED!! So cool Dave! I actually like this version better than the New Adventures and Laser Light versions of the character. He looks mean and sinister. It’s like an upgrade to the original Skeletor. Thank you for another awesome share, Dave!!
Good show Dave, loos like loads of fun, I may have to follow your advice and go check out Barborosa customs for myself, thanks for the video Dave, cheers!
You could use a Dremel engraving bit with a nibbed end to create a lip in the hole of the arm where the axle clip could actually clip in and rotate without worrying about it falling off.
Another excellent video! I would personally like to see you use and give your opinions on the Magnets method for attaching the legs of a MOTU instead of the He-Bands or O-rings repair. A fully cast MOTU figure without be cool to see too!
I always liked the NA Skeletor design but the figures never turned out right, the first wasn't awful but that helmet and underhand ruined it for me. The Classics version is the most offensive, he looked bloated and over designed...now that version is truly awful. I am looking forward to the Masterverse version. With this I always imagined the LL Skeletor was modeled similarly NA and love that you saw it and did this, excellent work as usual
Rumor is he got a nice legal letter from Mattel telling him to stop. He's not retired, though. Just shifting to his own custom designs. It's too bad that we no longer have access to his repro stuff.
Me likey! I admit- original New Adventures Skeletor looks less evil, and more like a confused waiter. I like the modded one a lot better. (Is there some reason the phrase 'confused car park attendant' keeps popping up in the back of my mind?)
Barbarossa customs has officially shut down and he's selling his remaining stock on ebay. This makes me sad. I was looking forward to getting that origins 200X King Grayskull head when it went up for sale. Even bought a 200X He-Man for the body already. He's got a subscribtion list for Barabossa studios, but who knows what he'll be doing with that.
Articulate wrists on a vintage style MoTU toy? Madness. Go for it!
This definitely highlights how Laser-Light Skeletor looks like a beta or concept design for New Adventures Skeletor.

What an awesome custom, well built and well painted. It's fun painting figures. I love it.
Oh wow I actually think I prefere this version to the original laser light. He looks sooooo dam good. Excellent work as ever Dave 👏 🤟🏻
This version is really lovely. It's a step up on the New adventures version which seems small and skinny in comparison.
Brilliant - more customising please!!! xxx
this is ridiculously cool

Mods are the best . Thanks Dave.
Hey Dave
Fun project
Take care
These kits are so cool! I’d love to put one together someday. I’m glad he’s producing them again.
They are! And really fun to build.
deeply deeply love it
Great! I like these sorts of videos as much as the toy repair videos.
Glad you like them!

Excellent job .

That looks awesome 👌 and waaaaaay cheaper lol
I love this build Dave he looks great!

I like the he-bands. Keeps the figures as close to original as you can. Cheers
Hello and congratulations for the excellent work.
Could you tell me where I can find the electronic components?
Most came with the kit. But I buy all mine from eBay.
SWEET!
I think a spare black cape could work on him, any opinion on that idea ?
Very nice
Poweroso!

Does his eyes stay on or do you have to hold the button down
It's a locking button so you switch them on and they stay on. Click again and they go off. You could put any sort of switch on it you like.
I followed the link and it seems Babarrbossa Customs has retired and his inventory is no longer and sold out on eBay.

are you #%
How much are the kits Dave?
Check out their website. It will have all the details.
@@toypolloi cheers Dave will do
Is Barbarossa still active???
He has changed his focus from reproductions to his own customs as far as I know. Cheers
@toypolloi so, these kits are no longer available? Darn...
They're back!

I went to buy from stuff from Barbarossa, and everything was sold out.
