I remember that train accident with those teen girls. They lived in the same area of Utah I use to live in. It occured in Spanish Fork Canyon, Utah. Michael Anderson was the train conductor and John Anderson was the engineer of the train. Savannah Webster age 13 who was the youngest of the three girls did not die instantly like the two 15 year old girls did. The two 15 year olds were ripped to pieces on impact and thrown all over the track and gravel. John Anderson held Savannah Webster in his arms while Michael called for help. He held her til first responders showed up. She was unconscious the entire time and suffered from multiple severe fractures and a massive brain injury. She passed away 3 days later in the ICU. Both the conductor and engineer had major PTSD after the incident due to witnessing the train annihilate 2 of the girls instantly and seeing Savannah with horrific injuries to her face, skull, torso and limbs. Savannah never regained consciousness before she passed away. That accident was all over the local and national news. Hundreds of people showed up for their funerals. The two older girls had to have closed casket funerals due to the amount of damage done to their bodies. There is still ribbons and a memorial near the tracks where they died. Felt terrible for their families who went through hell after their deaths.
@@queencerseilannister3519 I grew up in Spanish Fork, and my little sister was friends - not close, but friendly - with one of the girls. The area where they lived, Covered Bridge, trains go by all of the time. But, 99% of the time, it's one train on one track going one way at a time. Many other residents of Covered Bridge have said that they don't recall ever seeing two trains go by at the same time because of the schedules. The girls were standing in between the two sets of tracks. What most likely happened (and they didn't survive to tell us, but it makes sense) is that they saw the first train. Since they were used to that kind of thing, and other local teenagers had done similar things before, they continued to take pictures, and most likely either didn't hear the other train in time to get out, or they figured that since they were safe with the first train passing, and they weren't on the tracks, it would be ok to stay where they were. I will say that these weren't stupid kids. Young, yes. Naive, yes. But stupid? No. They made a series of decisions that in other circumstances would have been reasonable to make, but they ran into some really horrible luck, and it ended in absolute tragedy. Reality is actually far more stupid. They knew the train was coming, yet not 1 of the 3 women moved out of the way - they remained on the track and probably posing for a picture up to the point of being smashed.
Perhaps they were not familiar with the concept of trains. Some males will challenge a train out of bravado, but they know the risks. These females didn't seem to be making a challenge of any kind, they just seemed oblivious. Maybe they honestly thought a train could stop like a car.
it was 3 girls... that's not "humanity". The fact that they were all female surprises me not in the least. A male would challenge to see how close he can get to it. But women? Completely oblivious. Thats the thing about a revolver, it doesn't have a safety. Either keep it unloaded or keep the first 2-3 slots empty. But the best way to make sure its safe is to lock it up
Also to note that revolvers typically have a very heavy trigger pull, so much so that it would be extremely unlikely to accidently go off by bumping something. This is typically seen as the 'safety' on revolvers.
I'm not surprised to see these accidents. When I was in college, I took a photography class. We had an assignment, to take photos of black and white contrasts. A white guard dog, similar to a German Shepard, saw me, and came up growling at me. It was standing on black pavement, so I took it's picture. I wasn't scared, because I new it would make a great picture. I was lucky it didn't bite me, and I then realized how dangerous photography could be.
To think I have never ever even take a minute to look at people's selfies because I just don't care enough, and people actually dying over this gabage. Go Darwin! Go!
Your suppose to think a lot of your self. How do you get up in life. By praying? You might be there along time waiting. and I don't take pictures of myself .
It's actually quite the opposite most of the time. People are really insecure and need the validation of others to feel valued. Don't think it is all people taking selfies though. I mean, sometimes there is just no one else around to take a picture of you, so you gotta do it yourself.

Under an hour, myself. Hey, what’s a little “suspicious computer history”? ✌️😁
Same here!
This video could've been called "How being an idiot gets you killed"
The lengths people go through just to get the perfect photo, it's pure madness.
I think you should do "When Bondage goes wrong".
Good 1 lol
You should do a video titled “When babysitting goes wrong”
Darwin awards for all! Special shout out to the bear.. thin the herd!
LOL, "the song happy makes me happy"... SMASH! the ending of that story makes ME happy!
To use a horse racing term You could say each of these accounts was a "Photo Finish."
When attention seeking goes horribly wrong.
Already been done, it's called "Botched" !
IM WEARING AIR PODS AND DEAR LORD YOUR MERCH OUTRO ALWAYS CATCHES MY SCARDY ASS OFF GAURD 👁💧👄💧👁
imagine thinking that if you don't throw a grenade then it won't explode
i'm guessing he has never played call of duty huh
I'm not surprised to see these accidents. When I was in college, I took a photography class. We had an assignment, to take photos of black and white contrasts. A white guard dog, similar to a German Shepard, saw me, and came up growling at me. It was standing on black pavement, so I took it's picture. I wasn't scared, because I new it would make a great picture. I was lucky it didn't bite me, and I then realized how dangerous photography could be.
The narrator's voice adds to the creepiness 🙌🏻😂
Imagine if the last image all these people saw from their screens was not their own grinning faces but that of the REAPER 💀💀💀
Selfies don't kill its stupidity.
Crazy, I knew the dude that was struck by lightning on the Brekon Beacons! What a lovely dude! RIP
It's always the good one's that die 😔
This one is tough, these narcissistic people earned they're destiny. No one loves them more than they do. Thanks Carl this was a happy story
"oh hey! an injured bear! leme just walk up to it try take a picture real quick..."
Number 7 the poor kid all he wanted was to make people laugh

"Once the pin is pulled out, Mr. Greenade is not your friend," Call of duty
This is why they don't make pinless grenades.
(Or why, if some idiot ever did, we never knew about it. 💥)
Everytime i watch one of this videos.. They start to make me worry about dying in the dumbest ways.
The running with the bulls thing is so weird to me I can't believe it exists at all
"no selfie zone" lmao I can die now
Do when a mosh pit at a nursing home goes wrong.
Lmao, ever been in a heavy metal moshpit and had my arm sprained, it was numb till the end of the show.
This should be a good idea for the next video
Anorexic power lifting gone wrong.
@@fatmayo2293 bahahahahaha!!!
@@fatmayo2293 - I can see the bones splintering as they try to lift 10kg.
When Elevators goes wrong
Oh no 😥
Can you cover rescues gone wrong? Like, people who were killed trying to save someone.
That poor train driver. I can’t imagine the PTSD those deaf twarts caused him
I would like to suggest the following topics: 'When babysitting goes wrong' / 'When sleep-overs go wrong' / 'When hitch-hiking goes wrong'.
when is there gonna be a top 7 strangest things that happened on a plane part 2?
I wanna see the selfies that were apparently worth dying for 🤷🏼♀️🧐
Some of them were in the video.
Me at every number: "Good"
Narcissus' story was told for a damn well reason.
Reality darwinism at work.
You're like the only guy on the internet who understands how grammar works! Autograph time!
It’s so selfish to not think of the dangers... those rescuers having to now find your body in rough water conditions.
To think I have never ever even take a minute to look at people's selfies because I just don't care enough, and people actually dying over this gabage.
Go Darwin! Go!
The title should be “When people die for being stupid”.... except the lightning strike
Even then...holding up a metal stick in a thunderstorm isn't exactly bright.
I think people who do selfies think a lot of themselves and are narcissistic.
Your suppose to think a lot of your self. How do you get up in life. By praying? You might be there along time waiting. and I don't take pictures of myself
.
Being self interested is natural, being self centered thinking the internet cares about their stupid selfies is next level moronic.
It's actually quite the opposite most of the time. People are really insecure and need the validation of others to feel valued. Don't think it is all people taking selfies though. I mean, sometimes there is just no one else around to take a picture of you, so you gotta do it yourself.
@@terran236 I agree, but still you got t have confidence
@@michaelcampos683 confidence is self evident. Confidence is the complete opposite of Egotistical. Egotistical people are hollow.
Those who are confident dont need to go around parading bullshit pictures of themselves no one cares about. I know several people who dont even have a facebook or instagram. Frankly those people are smarter and less egotistical than most of these narcissistic idiots. It's maddening that these fucking idiots get other people killed for stupid bullshit.
I don't know what to say about some of these-especially the train girls.
honestly that train selfie is just natural selection !
The train one... it's bad when 1 person is so vapid and narcissistic, but 3 in one setting when a train is seconds away going full blast. Common Now!...
