In response to my comment, he mentioned getting in contact with Robbyn, and after a brief conversation, she got Guy Moon, the composer, to send her the instrumental. He posted a snippet of their chat log, saying Guy Moon was a genius behind the composition and how he put it together in his home studio. He had Robbyn come over to sing the main vocals as well as the backing vocals. I can’t remember whether or not Robbyn gave him permission to upload, but I think he touched upon that, saying something like “I’m sorry, Robbyn, but the Internet has to hear this!” Which pretty much tells me he didn’t.

I know fans have wanted an instrumental version of this song for a long time, including myself. I have nothing but respect for Guy Moon for creating this song. The main reason I released it is for fans and future generations to hear the core of one of animation's greatest songs. Way too many songs have multitracks that will never see the light of day. I didn't want that to happen with "Remember"; I just couldn't let that happen...Yes, it will cause hundreds of people to dub their own covers over it, but so what? The song is beautiful, and why keep it all locked away when Nickelodeon clearly doesn't remotely care about giving the song a proper release? I don't like Danny Phantom but from what little I saw of Ember's character she is the type of character who seeks attention and seeks to be recognized, I can understand why Randy identifies with her but it is clear that the creator did not made her as a role model and in truth is a pretty pathetic character to a certain extent, sunset shimmer is better in that sense, they are similar but sunset has more dimensions on her character.

In response to my comment, he mentioned getting in contact with Robbyn, and after a brief conversation, she got Guy Moon, the composer, to send her the instrumental. He posted a snippet of their chat log, saying Guy Moon was a genius behind the composition and how he put it together in his home studio. He had Robbyn come over to sing the main vocals as well as the backing vocals. I can’t remember whether or not Robbyn gave him permission to upload, but I think he touched upon that, saying something like “I’m sorry, Robbyn, but the Internet has to hear this!” Which pretty much tells me he didn’t.

I don't like Danny Phantom but from what little I saw of Ember's character she is the type of character who seeks attention and seeks to be recognized, I can understand why Randy identifies with her but it is clear that the creator did not made her as a role model and in truth is a pretty pathetic character to a certain extent, sunset shimmer is better in that sense, they are similar but sunset has more dimensions on her character.
