Great job! I did this mod and it was great. The rear is what will get you since it’s smaller and harder to open up. I’ve been debating on the cut and fold.
I have to agree with the 'pissed on cat' on this one. I took a hand sledge to mine years ago, folded right in. Only concern is mud gets caked in there. I recommend keeping an eye on that area for rust.
You're kidding right? These XJs will never be collector vehicles that people do concourse restorations on. It's a 20 year old shit box, just like the rest of them. I have cut mine up quite a bit more than this. It performs much better than stock off road and gets compliments when I take it out.
