haha, thanks so much. I've slowed down on covers but I do keep thinking I should do more soon, I'll do some Manson for sure when I start making them again
@@RichiiWainwright I ripped my throat trying to copy that compressed sound you've made and not losing a note at the same time)) Could you explain how you do it without hurting yourself? I can do both false cord and fry screaming but can't distort a note
@@voicefromthevoid4296 damn hope your throat is ok. Honestly I’m not sure how to explain it. Took me years to figure out. The only way I can describe it is singing in a very loud and projected way, and tensing your abs, and kinda bringing this nasal quality in. It feels similar to a false chord but false chord feels more throaty to me whereas this feels more nasally. Like I’m growling from behind my nose 😆 so hard to explain. Chester Bennington is a great reference to practice this kinda sound to though because whatever type of scream he did, it’s definitely similar to what I’m doing here
@@RichiiWainwright can you record the full song or make a video about it (better both ofc)) so I could learn from you? 🥰 I felt like my chords kinda like... can't open wide enough so thats why it results in coughing. may be I'm just doing it all wrong. or may be its being female that makes it harder 😀
Hate that you feel like you have to mention people being offended. Personally I'm offended lol that people have lost their ability or willingness to use critical thinking. Anyway cool video!!
"Manson's canceled right now"....even though he's going on tour soon. Plus it's impossible to "cancel" someone based on unproven accusations. Aside from that, great job with the vocals.
I've read forums about this over the years that touched on getting Manson style vocals, but a total n00b with recording software that it was all over my head. Can anyone recommend a good software setup tutorial as a lead up to this video? I really need a good set of step by step instructions to show me how to add the effects and general setup. Thanks!

@@creepymccreepersI'm OBSESSED with the vocal production on Mechanical Animals the song. I've always wondered wtf effect is on his voice during the verses that makes him sound all metallic like a robot.
You are screaming too much, overstraining yourself. His singing is more lazier, up close to the mic and defo lots of double tracking, vocal compression. I heard somewhere that his trick was chewing gummi bears before singing.
@@s1storm Mechanical Animals. Check some interviews with producent Michael Beinhorn, he said that Manson didn't scream much and that his singing was actually quiet, very close to the mic and that he was chewing lots of Gummy Bears before recording.
@satysixx The chewing helps with salivation, which lubricates the vocal cords; and the gelatin from the gummies would probably coat the vocal cord and larynx, similar to how something like "Throat Coat" tea works.

Tourniquet may be that voice that takes her to the limit
Nice work. I love Manson vocals.
“The beautiful vocals… the beautiful vocals!!!!” Great vid. Thanks! 🔥
“Not gonna get into that too much…. Gonna use the song heart shape glasses” 😂 not sure if ur trolling but that was hilarious.
Shit yeah I didn’t even realize haha. Just the easiest song for me to sing honestly
Eat Me, Drink Me is an amazingly personal record!!!
Holy crap that’s awesome!
Sir PLEASE make the full cover I'm so in love with your voice
Love your videos, I always learn something! Keep it up
Don't know if somebody already pointed this out, but your vocals sound remind me of Palaye Royale singer haha. The song "little bastards"

Amazing video
you're brilliant
I'm a girl with a kind of "highish" voice and for now it feels quite impossible to sing like that without sounding like "a villain in a cartoon"
Great

This sounds amazing. Can we get a tutorial on Al Jourgensen's vocals for Ministry's Psalm 69/Land of rape and honey? Thanks!
Thank you
A+ content!

This vid is from right after it happened and it was pretty controversial to make any Manson themed content. People kinda chilled since then
Funy thats my mic all stuff i use in my videos from amazon cheepest and my mic is junk and studio is mixcraft 7 lol but u sound great bro

what microphone are you using here?
T Bone SCT800. First mic I ever bought and I still use it 10 years later. Insanely underrated budget mic
