The shop I worked at had some PRS jmods, I used to play it with the red & white silver sky when I was sitting the custom shop 😂
The one with the rosewood neck is just like a matte color on cars and i love it! The other one has a nitro finish, (i tihnk its nitro, not sure.) basically shinier.

I would take the silver sky with a maple neck. The non-shiny finish is beautiful and clean. I just prefer maple over rosewood for electrics. I like rosewood necks for acoustic guitars.

the moc sand in your right hand with the rosewood fret looks beautiful beautiful beautiful, wow that's the one, not shiny just right. I have heard the necks on these are a bit on the "chunky / thick" side. Peace ! you had a Roxy Pink one too that was beautiful too, wow so lucky man !

Are you trying to say that John Mayer is a better guitar player than Tomo ? or do you just prefer Mayer's playing ? we really need to get away from that "childish nonsense" about "my guitar player is better than your guitar" and somebody being "the best guitar player in the world" I would rather listen to the Ventures and Freddy King than John Mayer. I have thousands of records and hundreds of favorite guitar players and I have not one recording of John Mayer. Why would I listen to him when I can listen to all the people that he learned from ?
Although John Mayer playing is a big influence to me, I don't find these guitars too much inspiring based on its look and demonstrations from YT. Well-made vintage-style Fender strat guitars already are above my expectations. Don't know what could be even better. Perhaps it needs storytelling from more guitarists... maybe a PRS Tomo Fujita's Golden Sun model.
Excellent Demo. I Love your jazz playing. You make it look so easy. I thought the Pro Reverb sounded a little sweeter than the Two Rock but both were great. I tend to think a Fender Custom Shop Strat might be sweeter than the PRS, but that guitar is superb no matter what.

Was that a RATM inspired riff there around the 9 minute mark? Beautiful guitar Fujita-san! The matte finish makes it look like a river stone smoothed to perfection.
I find the new Silver Sky pickups easier to listen to. I think they're a little quieter and lower output, but also less noisey, with less 'ice picky' highs as Paul himself would say. Seems like a good update. I heard they also changed the pickups and fret wire slightly as well, is it a noticeable difference?

I refinish and do complete restorations of old vintage guitars. Not taking away their patena... Very important. I have over 25 vintage guitars, most of which I have torn down and set back up like new. I tried one of these PRS models a couple of years ago. Way nice!!! Better than a Fender Strat, Almost!!! Love the neck. Smooth , Right? I just refretted my Gretsch, "64" and put jumbo frets. It's is the smoothest neck I have played. anyway, I have only seen a couple of your videos. Great job. The tone is great sound thick and full. I was wondering what gage strings and are they light, medium or heavy?
For regular guitars, I use regular gauge 10-46 set.
