I'm afraid this wouldn't be enough. Too many people do not have a strong sense of reality and truth. They've replaced intellectual integrity with good feelings and good intentions. They can't grasp anything beyond feelings. They're very good however at manipulating other people's feelings.

I don't think she cares about her people at all, if she is just cheering for more ukrainians deads in Kursk and in Donbas... she' is young enough and fit enough and gem enough to go herself in war instead of spreading this unlikely propaganda that the facts are always contradicting. Less fashion and less smiles and more reality please, gem Anna!

Two of my favorite Ukrainians (I hope you don't mind, Jonathan). Thank you for what you're doing. It's fascinating how hard it is for people to grasp just how different Russia really is. They struggle to accept that Russia is rotten to the core-a dystopian society where corruption, mindless violence, and lies are the norm, and decay touches every part of life. And that's what Russia wants to export. More than anything it wants us to become like them. When people in the West hear this, you can see the disbelief on their faces. It's as if they can't handle the harsh reality and refuse to accept that this is what Russia truly is.

During WWII my mother and I were sent by my father to have a rest from the bombing to the South West of England from London area. There was a scare that German were going to land on nearby beaches and were told that children like me were to be labeled and would be sent to the north. Women would be given a rifle and they were to go to the beach to kill the invaders. I don’t think either of us would have survived long had it happened but it was war and that is what you do. So I understand being given rifles. I tried to work out what it had all been about and I think it was exercises held off the coast to train for D day. They got misinterpreted into an invasion.

    • @HNH421
      @HNH421 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

Saunton Sands, a beach in Devon, England, played a significant role in the Allied forces’ preparations for D-Day. In April 1944, the site was used as a training ground for US troops, specifically for the 1st and 29th Infantry Divisions.
Concrete Higgins Boats During Exercise Tiger, a large-scale rehearsal for the D-Day invasion, concrete Higgins boats were used as mock-ups for the actual landing craft. These concrete replicas allowed troops to practice disembarking and moving inland, simulating the conditions they would face on Omaha Beach.
Training and Rehearsals The training exercises at Saunton Sands focused on beach landings, with troops practicing amphibious assaults and moving inland. The use of live ammunition and naval gunfire made the exercise as realistic as possible, preparing soldiers for the challenges they would face on D-Day.
E-Boat Attack Tragically, a group of German E-Boats intercepted the convoy of tank landing ships during Exercise Tiger, resulting in the loss of over 800 lives. This incident served as a sobering reminder of the risks involved in amphibious warfare.

@@jessehachey2732 The E-boat, also known as the Schnellboot (S-Boot) or S-Boot, was a type of fast attack craft used by the German Kriegsmarine during World War II. The Allies referred to them as “E-boats” due to their designation as “Enemy” boats.
      Design and Characteristics
E-boats were designed for operations in coastal waters, particularly in the North Sea, English Channel, and Western Approaches. They were characterized by their:
Displacement hull design, which provided stability and seaworthiness in rough seas
Diesel engines, giving them a range of 700-750 nautical miles (810-860 miles; 1,300-1,390 kilometers)
      Speed of over 34 knots (39 mph; 63 km/h)
Armament, which typically included torpedoes, light guns, and machine guns
      Operational Use
E-boats were used for a variety of tasks, including:
      Attacking Allied convoys and warships
      Conducting reconnaissance and patrol missions
Supporting amphibious landings and coastal operations
      Notable Classes
Some notable classes of E-boats include:
S26 class: The bulk of wartime deliveries, with 34.94 meters (114 ft 8 in) in length and 5.38 meters (17 ft 8 in) in beam
S18 class: Launched in 1938, with a notable example being S18, which was rebuilt as a fast tug boat in 1942 and sunk by bombing in 1945
      Legacy
E-boats played a significant role in the Battle of the Atlantic and the English Channel, earning a reputation as formidable and elusive opponents. They were often matched against British Motor Gun Boats (MGBs) and Motor Torpedo Boats (MTBs), as well as American PT boats, in a unique and intense form of naval warfare.

Thank you Jonathan, for having Anna. She is one of best commentators on Ukraine and Ruzzia. Perhaps the reason the world looks away often is rooted in the tentacles of corrupt8on everywhere. Better times are ahead.

For Putin, Russia is the territory, what is seen on a map, not the people, the people are just like his soldiers, tools and consumables, the same way the old Tsar and Stalin saw them.

yes, but he doesn't fathom that there is a limit to how degraded a life will limit his ability to move ppl to either action on behalf of him, or passivity to stay down. He's broaching those limits now.! This is bcuz he's a sadist and he's ignorant, which is also true of the russian elite!

Next., please interview Anne Applebaum regarding her recent book AUTOCRACY, INC. regarding the dictators who want to rule the world. We need to better understand the global threat of the AXIS countries. Thank you !!

Hello to you both. So good to see Anna on again professor. 🎉
I think Vlad Vexler had the best term for the majority apathetic Russian group. He called them "the de-politisized blob". Best term I've ever heard.
Please keep up the good work. from an old disabled U.S. Army Infantryman.

yep! blob is the right idea. I've seen comments from russians on various formats/places, and ive seen videos of them interviewed. The level of what russians call "pushilli" among russian thinking and behavior is limitless. "Pushilli' is a word that perhaps no other language has, it means tawdry on such a deep pathetic disgusting level that a word/slang was developed to describe it. I am not sure when this word emerged, but from the '90's it was increasingly used.

As an ex Army grunt and a White man, how can you accept the wholesale murder of White European men killing Whute European Men so the UiSrAel Military Industrial Complex can continue making BILLION$ while White Men DIE!
You should be ashamed of yourself for supporting this Orchestrated Scam War!

I have developed US fatigue, because my elected leaders are famous foot draggers. At least for the ones that support Ukraine, albeit limitedly. Here's the problem: presidents rely on advisors, advisors come from ranked vetting or from think tanks. When those processes create misguided thinkers, then presidents are ill advised. From Kissinger to Weinberger to Sullivan, we've had experts who are way off the mark, but pretend to be the creme du la creme. That's a long standing problem. I've looked at the RAND corporation's suggestions, and some are pretty good, but then out pops Samuel Charap and Jake Sullivan. What can be done about this? Obviously we need competent advice, but if the advisors are way off the mark, that's dangerous!

A break with the past is always difficult. Anna, you speak about Ukrainian officers having trained with the Russian army, and I can imagine how difficult that must have been when suddenly they were on opposite sides. And it was that way when a young inexperienced American army under the command of George Washington faced their British opponents during the revolutionary war. How difficult it is to come to terms with such extreme changes! And so too, I recall a neighbor, Norman Benedum, who had to fight the Nazis, and he was in charge of an American POW camp near the end of the war. The German soldiers knew his family name, calling out, "Benedum, Benedum!" Thinking he was one of their generals. He treated them very well, much as the Ukrainians treat the Russian POW's very well, but how strange it feels to be opposed and then in charge of soldiers who in essence knew the family of the commanding officer! It's a battle of ideas, ours framed around citizen democracy and human rights, theirs serfdom and blind loyalty to a leader, cult worshippers. May Liberty triumph over ignorance, and freedom ring throughout the world! 🇺🇦⭐💙🗽🌎🌍🗳️

This interview is soooooo heartwarming. I was not aware of the state of mind of Russian people, passive and hopeless, it seems. Nor did I know about the donation mindset.
But it fits with Observation from other journalists who reported that cities get cleaned up after attacks in short time.
Very impressive and a lot to learn at our end.
