And of course they have such beautiful Yuko's vocal. You need to check out more Wagakki Band songs. I will recomend "Senbonzakura" but you need to found live video because reactions to amazing music video often blocked on TH-cam. But their lives are beautiful too. The flat lute is called a koto. The flute is called a shakuhachi (8-holed flute). Youko is singing in Shigin style...she is a legend among that genre of singers.
Yuko, singer, was the catalyst for the forming of the band. Their purpose in creating the band was to bring the transitional instruments and music to the youth of Japan. All are masters of their instrument and teach. They have toured in the US and Europe and there are interview videos on YT.
You should check out the Wagakki Band’s cover of the song “Senbonzakura”. But look for the live version from their concert in Yokohama Arena. The MV version would definitely get blocked.
