I clean my tools just like you I can't put them away dirty. After 4o years of fixing things, I have everything I need. I am always looking for a new tools to help with certain jobs. I love my gearwrench xp 120's But I wanted a snap-on ratchet with the red hard handle before I die and I bought a couple. When you have the extra money buy a snap-on ratchet. There is a difference.

I’m not the kinda guy that would put that kinda money in just a brand of tools I’ve used snap on and some of the guys around me love the brand but I just can’t justify putting that kinda money into it when I get the same results from lesser brands tools
Snap on is like an exotic car a Porsche or Lamborghini my tools are like a Mustang or a Camaro…not as nice but still good …my point is why spend 150,000 on one when I can spend 60k on a Mustang 80k on a truck and still have money to spare on the same budget
snap on tools are the best money can buy

@@w33dj0602 I don't own a lot of snap-on I can't afford it. It is something I wanted to own before I die. What I am saying life is too short. Treat yourself even if it doesn't make sense. Enjoy the video's brother.

@@w33dj0602 I found going to the flea market you can sometimes find cheap Snap-on and Mac. I have quite a few I have bought that way.

I have the 3/8 deep and shallow impact sockets. In my experience sockets are sockets so they’re really great for the price. I just got some ratcheting wrenches from them I also have the normal wrenches

It’s a different between impact sockets and chrome a impact socket is harder it send the energy from the impact to the socket if you use a chrome it’s a softer material it absorbs the energy and you want get as much torque

But if you’re talking about brands as long as they’re cr-mo you’ll get the most out of it

@@w33dj0602 I know the difference between impact and chrome but I’ve never had a chrome fail. That wasn’t my point, I was mainly talking about brands. I have some AC delco chromes I got for free that I still use. Where I see people spend hundreds/thousands just for snap on sockets

@@w33dj0602 impacts are softer tho btw and chrome is harder. But I have yet to have a chrome socket fail me
