The problem of multiverse is OH GOD WHY THEY ARE SO BAD USING IT.
Like, there are a lot of stories that are multiverses but they always grab the worst version of all. The one that the comic books created that is hellish annoying. (It wasn't but after the thousand multiversal crises it starts to be).

Plot Twist: Homelander’s Ladder Story was just a dream that he’s been thinking about before he wakes up in the MK Universe, nothing about him soloing the entire roster was real.

This one feels similar to Peacemaker's ending in that we get an explanation in how Homelander got to Mortal Kombat along with some of the things he did (mostly kill part of the cast) but not what happened after he defeated Shang Tsung.
homelander always sounds like hes trying to keep his voice down
It's an interesting ending because a lot of people dismiss homelander in 1v1s because he hasn't had any experience fighting someone on his level so the entire mk universe would be great training for him. Imagine him coming back after unknowingly training himself against stronger and stronger opponents for the first time dude would be ruthless.

So the start of this has Homelander successfully fend off the government's attempt to stop the superheroes. It's a reverse of the situation in the comic, where the government jet fighters defeat the superheroes.
I think if you had that kind of power to your hands and you knew that no one can touch you maybe every human would be like homelander , maybe would be better than him but the image of perfect superhero that only fights for others didn’t exist in human mind, at some point you will lose your temper and make mistakes

I think he sounds similar to Antony Starr, but I wish he didn't rely so much on vocal fry and whispering. It doesn't always sound natural to be talking that quietly. The Homelander in the show speaks from his chest more often

He literally said he wanted to try and make it work NRS either cheaped out or Antony wanted to much so they got a much cheaper impersonator to replace him.I will say compared to NRS horrible VA casting in the past this one is actually really good i was waiting for a Nitara/Mk11 Terminator levels of bad tbh.
