Mortal Kombat 1 is a fighting game developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Games. It will be the twelfth main installment in the Mortal Kombat series, serving as both a sequel to Mortal Kombat 11 (2019) and the series' second reboot, following Mortal Kombat (2011). The game is set to be released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Microsoft Windows and Xbox Series X/S on September 19, 2023.
Mortal Kombat 1 has been confirmed to feature a story mode, online multiplayer with rollback netcode, and offline gameplay. The game will introduce a feature called Kameo Fighters, which will provide assistance to the player during fights. These characters will be separate from the main roster, and chosen before each fight. Additionally, the Air Kombat combo system which was featured in both Mortal Kombat: Armageddon and the action spin-off Shaolin Monks returns, and is being refined for this game.
As of the game's announcement date, it has been revealed to feature reimagined versions of characters such as Liu Kang, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Johnny Cage, Kung Lao, Kitana, Mileena and Kenshi. Shang Tsung will be offered as a pre-order bonus. Six additional characters and five kameo fighters are planned for post-launch release via the "Kombat Pack" downloadable content, which also includes a skin for Johnny Cage featuring the likeness of Jean-Claude Van Damme.
Kameo Fighters are a unique roster of partner characters to assist during matches, creating expanded gameplay possibilities for players. These characters are chosen separately from the main roster of fighters.
Some characters can serve as both kameo fighters and main roster fighters. Guest characters can even serve as kameo fighters.
Mortal Kombat 1 is scheduled to be released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on September 14, 2023 for those who have ordered the game's Kollector's Edition and Premium Edition, while purchasers of the Standard Edition will be able to access the game on September 19, 2023 .
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is a 2023 first-person shooter video game developed by Sledgehammer Games and published by Activision. It is a sequel to 2022's Modern Warfare II, serving as the third entry in the rebooted Modern Warfare sub-series and the twentieth installment in the overall Call of Duty series. The game was released on November 10, 2023, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
Modern Warfare III retains the realistic, modern setting of its predecessors and continues the sub-series storyline. The story follows multi-national special operations unit Task Force 141 tracking down Vladimir Makarov, a Russian ultranationalist and terrorist planning to trigger a third World War. The game's multiplayer includes sixteen remastered maps from 2009's Modern Warfare 2, with at least twelve new maps planned for inclusion post-launch. A Zombies mode, co-created by Black Ops sub-series developer Treyarch and built around an open world player versus environment experience, is also included.
After wrapping development on Call of Duty: Vanguard (2021), Sledgehammer Games were reportedly assigned by Activision to develop an expansion pack for Modern Warfare II, which then changed to become a full, standalone release in the Call of Duty series. After a series of leaks in early-to-mid 2023, the game was officially revealed in August 2023, with a showcase event and public beta also taking place in October. Upon release, Modern Warfare III received mixed reviews: it received praise for its multiplayer mode but criticism for its campaign mode, while its Zombies mode received mixed opinions. - เกม

Mortal Kombat is much better at guest characters than Call of Duty. In COD, they're just glorified skins with no life or personality; whereas in MK, the developers go out of their way to capture all the details and nuances that make these characters popular to begin with.

Anthony is still awesome as Homelander, and cool enough to have his face model instead of a different one for MK1.
Chris Cox did amazing impersonation of Anthony Starr. Now, if only Megan’s face model can be kept but have the voice actress for MK11 Skarlet do Nitara’s voice. She’ll obviously should depart the comparison from MK11 Skarlet voice, but still have that energy for Nitara’s vampirism nature.

I am surprised by the fact that he looks better in COD. Sure, the lighting is terrible, but the design is much closer to the real thing. His face too. In MK1 he doesn't even look like Antony Starr. Chris Cox's voice acting doesn't sound terrible to me, but I feel like he was directed poorly, whispering all the time and with a raspy voice.
A real shame, as he is much better utilized in MK1 than in COD.

I'll give Chris Cox credit for doing his best to put in as much effort sounding like Anthony Starr as he could.

Mortal Kombat gave the character more liberty to do whatever the fuck wants and he used to do. I don't think COD has finishers or even normal moves that walks right out of the show. The voice actor in Mortal Kombat 1 is pretty good but he does too much of that higher pitched Airy voice creaking tone that star does Anthony when portraying a more threatening tone Anthony does do that just not for every sentence though

Chris and the Mortal kombat team actually took their time in putting as much detail and nuance with their version while COD seemed like they rushed Anthony while he was on his 30 minute lunch break on set of The Boys.
