Harden was right. Embid should roll. He coulda had a extra 8+ points if he rolled. Why grind hard for all iso buckets and in the playoffs its gonna be harder to score. N it would opened floaters for harden or corner 3’s if teams helped

Clippers didn’t give up anything for Harden, the pieces Clippers gave up in the trade those guys weren’t even getting any playing time. What Clippers didn’t have prior to Harden and Westbrook was a good playmaker. Harden led the league in assists and he dropped 45 points on Celtics in the playoffs.

Pau had an elite post game either facing the basket or back to the basket and a good pick and pop game. Zu from the VERY LITTLE sample size and shooting form looks like he can have a good mid range game but when you have guys like PG, kawhi, and harden, on offense theres no time or need for zu to expand on his role. Hes also very clumsy dribbling the ball (unlike Pau) and anything outside of a few feet under the rim and its a turnover waiting to happen. He has a solid hook shot down low in the post that bails them out a lot though. If he was on a team that needed more scoring though I feel like he could easily average 18-20. As far as the Pau-Zu comparison, ehhh maybe some minor things but not enough to make a clear and substantial connection. I've seen both play a good amount. Zu has improved his decision making out of the pick n roll since playing with harden though.

Last year for the playoff,s harden stole two games from Boston even Embid did not play in the first game. He also played one more game perfect. So Embid just need to take only one game but he failed ... So it was mainly Embid's fault. However, Philly front office just made a wrong decision . Maxey is young and talented but he won't be as good as Harden was in his prime even not close. But if they had continued with Harden they would probably have been the best team in the East...

Longtime clipper fan here. the one major problem with the kawhi/pg era was not having a point guard/someone who can run the offense, we tried with reggie and pat bev but those guys are not true playmakers. harden is that exactly, and just his presence in the pick and role opens up mismatches for kawhi and PG all over the court, hence the insane offense. defense is still up in the air but that can be worked on.

Joel Embiid refused to roll, refused to play the first game against Boston, punted the second game, did nothing in G6 and got yelled at by PJ Tucker to do something, and then disappeared in G7 as well. Somehow all the blame is on Harden instead of Embiid. Harden is a flawed player but that was the league MVP with the greatest post season dropoff in NBA history, almost double digit, yet he gets no blame. This year the Sixers will lose in the first round and everyone will blame Tyrese Maxey and maybe Tobias Harris if he's still on that team.

It’s an indictment on Doc if the Clippers win a chip cause Doc wasn’t able to make it work with Harden.
Doc has to look himself in the mirror to see what he has done wrong as a coach instead of making excuses of why he has failed at multiple stops as a coach if the Clips win a chip

When you take into the Clippers depth you must also factor in Ty Lue! Swap Lue & Ham and the Lakers would be top in the West
Imagine the lineup combinations Lue would utilize with the Lakers. What he is doing with the Clippers is classic Lue, this is where he operates best, with a room full of the biggest egos and the most talent. Only he can shape these guys into a championship mind set
He did it with Lebron, KYRIE, Love AND jr smith!!! Throw in Tristan too. How he kept that locker room together is why Ty Lue is the best.
Clips are the deepest team in the league because they are elite at PG, SF, PF and Coach. Not many can say that. We always talk big 3 but every championship team has an elite coach
