    I like the foot blasters myself. There can be dynamics with them also. It is not as sensitive as what Justin is saying because it’s on your pedal but it’s my go-to. Love the video man! Your channel has helped me in so many ways. Keep up the good work bro!!

    I just did almost the same thing with my QuietKick last weekend! I had to place the piezo precariously in the Velcro sandwich, though; I wasn’t getting a strong enough response in my module (Alesis DM10) while the piezo was adhered to the plate. As a result, I’m probably going to beat that poor piezo senseless

    Very cool! I'm gonna go and do this, asap! Also...super excited to see what the big 100K subs celebration is gonna be! Been here since like 5-10K I think. 🙌🏽

    Kd7s are nice. You can chain them for double bass. I sold one of mine so maybe I'll try building one of these!

    Justin, the pad is built to accommodate double pedals.
    The pedal is fantastic and Drumeo is one of the best online resources to learn how to play drums.

      That’s true, I just didn’t feel like using two, and it only comes with one beater in the box anyway

    Hey Justin, can you recommend some very good earphones or in-ears? Bottom line is that the sound is transparent without any boosting and that they block the outside/stick/pad-noise…i am now using Sony WH1000Xm with the cable and without power switched on. They are pretty Ok but I wonder if there are better options in the industry….
    Small clarification. I have got Roland VAD 503 so I also want the best from the headphones, I do not mind if the price is 150 or 350€. Ofc if there are very good reasonably priced, it is the best option. But the price is not number one factor right now.

    So if a piezo works (technically) like a mike can I use in opposite a (old cheap) microphone as a trigger..?

    Hi I am looking for a way to compress my TD17kvx.
    I’m playing live through an an Alesis Stike Pro Amp.
    What do you suggest for a good compressor pedal? Or a way to get a better attack sound?

    Hopefully this question gets to you or somebody can help me out, but following this logic, would you be able to convert a set like the dw smart practice pad set? would you need to pintech triggers and a trigger interface or something along those lines,? what would you recommend for cymbals? I have a copy of reaper, sd3 if that info helps. thanks in advance

      Converting a practice pad set to an electronic set is basically the same process as converting an acoustic kit into an electronic one. There are a bunch of videos on that from 65 Drums (and other channels).
      This Vdrums video shows how to make a diy electronic drum pad out of a can. You can turn basically anything into a trigger.

    Hey amazing video! Could you possibly talk about what type of triggers are there? Cause I literally cant find anything online about but clearly there are different types. What I mean is I have a Alesis Sample Pad Pro and it has a dual zone trigger input Ive tried to use a dual zone Jobeky cymbal and a Roland Pd-8 none of which trigger the dual zone but a Roland Rt-30H drum trigger does work with the dual zone. I am wondering if there is any possible way for me to somehow convert the Jobeky Cymbal in to a dual zone signal the Sample pad would understand. Keep up the great work!

    • @BFedie518
      @BFedie518 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Are you using a TS (mono) or a TRS (stereo) cable? You have to use stereo cables for dual zone triggers to work.

    • @davids8765
      @davids8765 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@BFedie518 Its most definitely a TRS cable.

    When I first saw this I just thought “so, it’s a KD-7 with none of the electronics?”

    • @65Drums
      @65Drums  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah it's literally a quiet version of a KD-7, that can cover double kick pedals, and has a removable surface. So it's interesting, but the general concept has been done before
