Ra One was a badass movie of that time. The Current Indian Audience was not there to enjoy the thrill of this movie. I was in college in that era & enjoyed the movie due to its vfx and incredible CGI. At that time, I did not understand these technical things but as a whole it was a treat to watch.
But, thanks to the Current & Upgraded Indian Audience again (especially after the Covid Era).

I've seen first day first show of this movie coz my mom is huge srk fan, as a child i loved the movie, and i still love it, yes there were some cringe moments, but it was quite common in movies of those times, and the creators have themselves agreed that first it was gonna be made only for children(in fact srk himself said he was making it for his chindren so that they have an INDIAN SUPERHERO, and ppl call him anti-national 🙄), but then they thought it was a huge risk and that's why they added some masala scenes
I remember watching this when I was 7 yr old and I was SO MUCH AMAZED by this,, the train sequence gave me goosebumps with the 3d glasses that I wore for the very 1st time

My free pointers -
1. Ra.One has adult jokes because budget war too much so they needed international market. So it was used just like shinchan because it's also a adult show.
2. Ra.One has story which needed done technical knowledge to fully understand the concept. Compared to movie Krrish which was simple while for This movie it was technical. I still bet no one understands why G.one (spoiler).
3. Remember Krrish box office collection was 120Cr due to simple story but at that time very few were into tech, so makers knew that they will be in loss. Because budget is itself 135Cr. So Krrish success was not guaranteed. Hence little adult and complete story in 2nd half. Original budget of movie war 90Cr.

Look brother in my opinion I will definitely appreciate the efforts of Anubav Sinha and Srk sir for making this movie. The thing is that this movie has a brilliant Vishal Affects now and at that time also and I really appreciate the efforts of Anubav Sinha and Srk again and really this movie is really a way of ahead of it's time. Now the problem with this movie is that the execution is not upto the mark and editing of this was just ok not that great. And I also the characters of the lead was very irritating and annoying. We can't even feel the chemistry between the lead actors and also the performances of the actors like srk and Kareena was also not that great except the boy's acting was great 👍👍👍 and really the dialogues was absurd and cringe 😬😬😬. In the last I would say the music was good and I would say if you want to revise your memories again of past then definitely you can watch this movie. That is my opinion guys.

Finally someone said that Raone wasn't a flop! Yes, it got bad reviews back in time but to say it was a flop? Noooo, Raone broke all the weekend records. It's occupancy on the first day morning was 90%+ which is insane! And also collected decent overall. It was a very good attempt which we as an audience failed to appreciate!

I was 8 back in 2011 and watched Raone in theatres with my family. We all absolutely loved the movie and enjoyed it's VFX.
The cubes assembling and Raone forming; train sequence there were so many mind-blowing scenes. The VFX and technology was much better than any other bollywood movie except Brahmastra.
Sadly one of the prominent members of the VFX team of raone died in an accident.

First thing I liked your analysis, you consider almost all the perspectives of movie and second thing when u already seen the worst thing even mid things starts looking like best and this movie was not even a mid it's was a good entertaining plus a unique superhero maybe if we would have supported it there could be more better versions will have available now. Personally VFX, music, action, cinematography were good I know it has flaws but it's a great movie
