If you will see, Ra One was also lacking some elements of emotions and connectivity with audience and hence it was not successful on that time. Meanwhile the vfx of Ra One was ahead of its time. Similar mistake was observed in Avengers Age of Ultron where the whole centre point was based on technology and it was lacking that "Emotional Connectivity" with audience and hence it was also come at last choice in all Avenger Movies.

Exactly. it's not just about the actor's fees. India also lacks good visual effects studio.. most of them are chindi companies, and the producers asigned their films to chindi companies to save money for themselves. it's a whole lot of problem, you could say that in a way bollywood runs in like a money laundering scheme

Brahmastra"s have very unreal VFX you should watch VFX scene or whole movie in 4K Resolution. I'm Saying this Because by brother work in MPC (Moving Picture Company) it is VFX company and if you want to say Hollywood have big budget that's why they have good visual it not true but giving enough time to VFX artist and proper management can bring good VFX scene not big budget and if want to know that ( Ex Machina) have only 15 million Dollars budget but it won Oscar for best visual Effects Indian producer just give big chunk of budget to big actor and and those money left after the all expense they give to VFX artist or VFX company Indian have talent they work in WETA FX all big VFX Company in world they are doing good.

The level of high level vfx and 3d cinematography sfx and cgi was only seen in Robot 2.O, as it was way ahead of it's time having an out of the world it was a step up in indian cinema and is now being forgotten so we just need to see it again and compare it to the rest of the trash we have recently seen. The universe of chitti should be brought back to life

Srk never charges for movies (not since he became producer) ,he comes on board as producer , pathaan VFX is also being done by redchillies , akki charges fees plus some percentage of profit.
Srk has charged 100 crore + 10 profit percentage for pathan
