Loved the underwater close up of Mr Boo's leopard print budgie smugglers
🙈
Twiggy is adorable, all ready to go after a good nap. Beautiful village. thanks for sharing from Canada
What a beautiful rustic village. And the old Pandas fit in so well.
Thank you for keeping us charged for another week! Delightful as always ,and there's nothing like a camping trip with Tim, Boo, Twiggy and Elton anywhere on TH-cam. Thank you as well for the few moments of the dinner serenade, they were not quite enough, and for bringing old Barbra back to life for a ramble as well.
Per Divertirti!
Beautiful village, and churches. Horrendous path to village! Wonderful video. Thank you very much.
So glad you enjoyed. We loved the walk visually but it’s curiously broken down!
WOW that was fantastic...the churches, village, precarious walk everything was great.thank you so much for showing us something we wouldnt have ever seen otherwise.....
Thanks very much. It was a lovely morning
0:15 that's absolutely a morning sound, however usually using the porcelain kettle.
Lovely episode thanks chaps
Why haven’t you been approached by a tv network to do a reality series. You’ve got it all, and more. Yes, buy an olive grove. You really do know how to spoil Mr Boo. 😂❤️🥂
He needs an olive grove and a pot noodle!
Glad to see you boys enjoying La Dolce Vita in Italy. We love the country and those houses prices look tempting, much cheaper than here in Cornwall!
Thank you for responding to all of the comments made. That must create a load of work for you, but just shows your care and commitment to the channel and your viewers. From a fellow Yorkshire man here in sunny Huddersfield you guys are fab.
Thanks very much and love to cleckhuddersfax as they called it for a bit in my day !
Nice Wodehouse shout-out! Walkies! A great show of that era.
Gosh that walk was precarious to say the least, I loved the yellow croc shuffle down the steep parts. The church was absolutely beautiful. I know it must be tempting looking at those prices but you are really Villefranche guys aren’t you , the sea the beaches, the food , the magnificent scenery . 💕💕 little Twigs is a weekly joy , she is such a good little walker and sweet as can be. Thanks again both. 💕💕
Oh we wouldn’t/couldn’t move there but we’d love a really inexpensive place to go to and build
What a beautiful peaceful village and you made it back ahead of the thunderstorm! So you watch Tyler and Todd too ! Can’t wait to see how you get on at the estate agents!
Oh it’s interesting !!
Fantastic video, the charm of Italian villages leaves no one indifferent.
That idea of an off-grid container house is really appealing. It's never too late to choose a solution like that, and it would also be a dream for me to have something like it.
I love the simplicity of them and the cost..
The singers at the end were outstanding!
They were!
A superb video Tim and Mr Boo. You both visit such wonderful places. And good old Terry Jacks, a fabulous singer. He is around 80 now! 😀
Thanks . It was on the jukebox of the pub I grew up in for about ten years and I fear I played it most days!
@@MeandMonAmi Interesting. I was a sad wee kid at the time lol 😆
From Rome, in a lot of countryside or remote towns, inhabitants sell their homes and plots of land for various reasons: Moving to inhabited centers for work reasons or increasing maintenance prices (due to stability of structures, manpower, etc.). In some areas they are still rebuilding buildings from earthquakes that occurred a long time ago. But having a place to live here in locations like those is also a wonderful way to learn about customs and traditions forgotten over time. (And I love my water green-toothpaste color FIAT Topolino as the colors of old Pandas)
@@kazumakonosuba7229 Yup so many of the weeks we visit in the next ep have been like that for a very long time.
How exciting...a new place in Italy yay ...so much fun investigating future possibilities. Loved this episode so much❤
Thanks. Always good to dream…
@@MeandMonAmi Absolutely. Dream to manifest what you want in life♥️🙏♥️
More interesting content, Thank you both.
Fabulous.❤
Guys, its not just the land you’d buy. You need to have a healthy renovation budget to make a home in Italy livable. If you find something move in ready, you don’t allocate for that work. Tim and Mr. Boo do decide that’s what you want to go for best wishes! A second home would be ideal for getaways, if you’re still intent on keeping your primary home on the French Riviera. We would be thrilled if Italy has called you as Fratelli d’Italia proclaims! 😊
Another wonderful vlog guys, well done! Amusing as always, it amazes me how you manage to get so much equipment into Elton. Just when I thought I’d seen it all, out pops a new gadget. It’s a bit like Mary Poppins carpet bag 😁
It’s a tardis!
I sometimes think about buying a cheap rundown rural property to keep us busy in our retirement, and then I remember I have lots of places to see and lots of interests 😀. Our next home will hopefully be smaller, easy to maintain and give me a simpler life. However, we have got our eye on a 70s Spanish-style ‘villa’ in a Wye Valley village, which will need lots of changes whilst keeping the character. It even has a ‘leisure suite’ with sauna 😁
Really enjoyed the visit to the bootiful village with you. It’s so perfect for you too. Certainly buying a little home there would be a fun project🥾🥾👍. Xx
Would be lovely
Hopefully you can win the lottery to make your campervan and Italian home a reality 🤞🏻
@@Keneka I think it might have to be an either/or!
@@MeandMonAmi I vote campervan, then you can do tours around the riviera ❤
Mr Boo was cycling in Lycra. Where is that? Ha!Ha! Just kidding. A Thoroughly Good and Enjoyable Episode.🧸🧸🐶🚙
Distant thunder…🤞🤞🤞😂
Just you wait…
Fantastic, thank you x
Thanks Richard
Just got back from Villefranche to our home in Redon , Bretagne , thought you may be on your Italien travels 😀 Literally now sat down and switched on our “ Sunday viewing “ Tim Boo & Twiggy , last Sunday we had to watch it on the I Pad !! Enjoyed our visit as always and absolutely love your channel , hopefully catch up next visit . Ok now going to continue watching .
Really hope we bump into you. Hope you enjoyed VF. And we are determined to take Elton to your neck of the woods one day
@@MeandMonAmi Hey we would love for you to visit this part of the country.
Your walk to the village in Italy reminded us of our walk from the railway station up to the mountains using the “Eze” trail .It was a visit just as we were coming out of Covid and able to travel in our own country we didn’t realise the terrain would be as rugged and to add insult to injury the heavens opened 🤣 . Fortunately when we got to the top looking like two bloody drowned rats ( not a pretty sight) there were not many people to view this vision .It was not a good look I tell you .
We drove for the first time this year and that is another story 🤣 how I wished we had Elton instead of John’s old treasured Peugeot 607 !!!
Ok Tim the story could go on , but thank you for your continuing recommendations we loved the coastal walk and happening upon David Niven former home , normally we stay in Menton but through you decided on VF and loved the walking distance between the 3 bays .
Remember when the Barron Knights done the Barbara Woodhouse song?! ‘The Sit Song’ 😂
Great lads, as always, can't wait to see next episode. Is that your new walk THE SUFFLE
La Victoire! On the camping ⛺️ trip. Thanks for sharing😊
Those yellow steppers do not look like safe footwear for such a perilous walk... Lovely video still. Your videos are a DIY holiday escapism inspiration. I've just gotten my own (second hand) Citroën Ami and planning to take it on many adventures. Goodie!
Excellent and you need some yellow crocs to drive properly!; Let us know how you get on with the Ami
That would interesting, a plot of land! Will Tim & Mr Boo do it? Only one way to find out and that is to stay tuned (and charged)! Fun episode!!
Indeed! Thanks Mike
What a lovely evening. I was wondering how you were going to retrace that path!
Oh no!
Twiggy having to jump her whole length up those steps. :)
She’s a good jumper!
I always looking forward to your vids! It's so relaxing in this disgusting time. That village would be something for me as well!
That Fiat Panda 4x4 at 18:19 min has by the way a Belgium young timer licence plate! ( They always begin with an O ) Have a nice evening!
Thanks and top info!
Really enjoyed this and what a beautiful town. It seems stuck in time and those old Fiat Pandas. Haha yes we love those buttresses 😂
Pandas and apes a plenty!
I thought I recognised the campsite and then when I saw you at dinner I realised it was the last campsite I stayed at before visiting my Grandma in Nice, two summers ago. Hope you have a great Italian adventure!
How funny! Very different to the French sites we’ve stayed on
Yes…Italian camping is a little different. My favourite stop of that trip was camping by the lake at International Glamping Lago di Bracciano. For when you’re back in France, my Uncle has a site over in St Aygulf/Frejus. L’Etoile D’Argens if ever you’re over that way! Even has a little
Boat to take you to the beach.
Mister Me and Mister Boo and Elton and Twiggy 🐶🐕❤what a beautiful village, church looked gorgeous inside 😍 😊❤ that path will be inaccessible very soon if they don't do something with the delapedated bridges 😮😮 least the fences were under replacement 😂 Fiat Panda very popular by the sounds of things Tim 🤔very entertaining vlog, stay safe and well and obviously stay charged 😀 🎉
Call the tent Taupin (eltons best friend) sounds a bit like tarpaulin
Love it
Did Mr Boo trump when he sat down with his coffee? Great video, I really enjoyed watching it.
He says not!
Let’s see. Mr Boo cooks, sets up the tent, loads the car, takes care of Twiggy, charges the car, translates French and Italian into English, is probably the more sensible and effectual shopper and Tim . . . narrates? Seems fair.
It’s hard job narration!
Tim holds the camera on occasion.
Tim also drives 😀
That’s a good one😅
Don’t forget, he also has a real job!
Great vid love it keep up gud work
Appreciate it
Take a Magnesium supplement pill for cramps Tim. I know everyone and anyone advises stuff in TH-cam comments, but I do a lot of cycling / walking and got to the stage where I was scared to stretch out in bed when I woke up in case it started, now I take one tablet after each ride and zero episodes of leg cramps for months now.
Another great video thanks.
@@greigs9384 also magnesium oil applied to legs in the evening helps alot
I love your videos and sadly my partner is now called Mr Boo LOL You both are great xxx Keep up the great videos xxx
Thanks! All our fault!
As usual loved it but Tim perhaps the canary yellow Crocs weren't the best option my love 😂
They were mr boos so a size too big also
These beautiful old homes are now for sale and cheap all over Italy, so much more historic than an ugly container. Alan Carr did a show where he bought one for 1€, did it up and sold it on. But with a bit of luck treasure can be found!
Bonsoir mes amis d'Espagne. For those walks I'd need a handrail. I like to indulge my wanderlust by looking at properties in the Principality of Asturias on the grounds that summers there are less like an oven on high but one is still in the mountains. Whether we'd still get as much solar as here to cut our electricity bills and give us hot water is another matter but at least the better pubic transport would save on car usage - all helps the budget.
There’s definite virtue in them there hills in Summer!
When you were walking from the campsite, I thought how on earth are they find their way back 😂
It didn’t look it but it was very hot on that road! But I wasn’t about to attempt that path again!
Oh, they always leave a trail of bread crumbs. 😉😄
@@MeandMonAmican’t blame you, it looked very hairy in parts
That cute village with the houses for sale was fascinating. I watched it over a few times to try and get
a feel for the situation. It was confusing me to death ))))
The real Estate values, I find really interesting.
I guess the custom is to live on one level rather than buy the entire building. That made sense, but the
state of those buildings made them un-mortgageable. They must be cash only, surely🤷🏼♂sold only to developers.???
The first house Mr Boo pointed out with the above buttress apartments must have shared a front door on
the ground level . That's like living in a Hamster cage. No wonder these homes are cheap if that is how they
all are. Looking forward to learning more next week.
Stay Charged. 🚘🔋🔋🔋🔋🔋🔋🔋🔋🔋🔋
They are the same as they are in Villefranche’s. Most have a shared front door and then a flat on each floor. I didn’t see any sign of developers moving in Isolabona.
The rural parts 0f Lazio Italy are getting depopulated , everyone's moving to the big towns , it's sad , not sure about that area. Love Italy it's a great country with so much history
Yup there’s definitely no sense that second home owners are driving the locals out here. Obviously in other areas they are
@@MeandMonAmi my family are from lazio before we moved to scotland
Rickety, worn, and Dusty. As Chris Rea sang the road to hell. He got that one wrong. Bellissimo.
Yup I love a bit of rickety!
Was there really bats in there or was that exciting effects?
Exciting effects! Though the alley we went up did have bats which I thought were starlings!
Hope you brought your statins. Not sure what the main ingredient was as it looked like you were having an egg with your butter!! Always love the soundtrack when visiting the Chapels. And those creepy bats remind me of the Pyramid of Falicon episode. Twiggy was a terrific tour guide leading you along that dangerous path. Just give me some WiFi or 5G and I’ll work remotely there any day. Really appreciate you and Mr Boo taking all of us on your adventures.
I think those bats get around!;
Me boo’s trying to finish me off!
❤
I love your videos this was very interesting. Please get some hiking shoes or sneakers and maybe a walking stick?❤
I’m not THAT old!;
‘Content’ 😂😂😂
Olive content!
There's something uneasy about a plethora of Brits (from shows like Help I Bought A Village) buying up remote and historical villages while rents and house prices elsewhere are rampantly awfull.
There is where prices are driving out locals but I’m afraid in many of these places it’s the opposite.
I was a bit worried about you making that walk back to the campsite . Glad you took the road way. Otherwise we may never have seen you again …☹️
Indeed!
i couldnt do that walk not with the way my knee is at the moment
Not in crocs anyway!
@@MeandMonAmi couldn't do it crocs as well as I'm waiting for a knee replacement
You spoil us..
3 meal reports in one video, from the eggcellent Mr. Boo Breakfast over a pot noodle meal to an evening out with live music... 🤣🤣
Please no longer consider a container project - remember your problems with setting up a simple tent!!!!
Are you sure, that all these greenhouses grow nothing but vegetables for the local markets???
It crossed my mind and I did nosey in a few and couldn’t quite work out what was in there!
Ps we do have an outstanding restaurant coming up!
First, at long last! How sad am I? 😂
Congrats!
Thank you very much 😃 Some of the dodgy paths and steps are similar to the post industrial walks in my area (Ironville Derbyshire and Jacksdale Notts - I’m on the border). Another wonderful and enjoyable video! Thank you so much for always brightening up my Sunday evening 🙏
@@lordcharfield4529 Thanks for watching and mind the gaps!
😅
Mr Boo did not fart when he sat down. We need to make this clear. 😉😂❤️🥂
Have you replayed the moment. I’m. Not sure
I swear he adds in sound effects when I’m not looking.
32 seconds in, and yes. 😉😂❤️
Mr Poo 😂
Cheapa bodegas . . . Thinigs that go "Bump" in the night . . .unt in the day . . like tectonic plates. ?
My word, energy class G (lowest) on all of those properties! That would be illegal in France now (to sell), I think! Really not good.
I should imagine not much insulation and possibly very old heating systems?
Don’t think walking in crocs is a good idea ? Good music . Did you actually see a local in that village? Great adventure as usual.stay charged.
One. But it definitely not second home village I’m quite good at spotting those
With your focus on vintage Fiat Panda's, I had to look to see if anyone had done an EV conversion and sure enough,
th-cam.com/video/nYpWU05c0ck/w-d-xo.html I see some 2CV EV conversions, perhaps we can find a 2CV or other interesting EV conversions nearby you could drive and feature.
How can you walk with this slaughtered rubber ducks on your feet?
I’d put Mr Boos on by mistake and they are even bigger!
What a dreadful camp site. Talk about depressing. Surely you can find somewhere better?
6:55 It is literally a stairway to heaven 😂😂😂.
