You can see he is so well loved and groomed by his mannerisms and shiny coat. Well done mumma. He is gorgeous and you are an angel for rescuing/adopting him.
Unfortunately, in this era most people don't realize Pit Bulls in the 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's and 60's were considered the best breed for families with children. They are loving, caring, and sweet. I am in my 70's. I had over my lifetime 9 Pit Bulls. I reared 8 children, neighborhood children and so far 13 grand children without any negative incidents. Helen Keller's dog was a Pit Bull also. What a lovely story and tribute to the very misaligned breed.❤

There definitely are dogs that are dangerous. My daughter adopted a mixed breed that bit her friend’s child. Off to training he went for four weeks; the dog returned home and did well until, unprovoked, he attacked her son. The trainer was notified and said not to take another chance with this dog and the veterinarian advised euthanasia.

I rescued an abandoned staffy here in Jackson, MS in Maybof last year and if I could I would send a weekly thank you card to the person who abandoned her. We brought her home, took care of all medical needs, and has been an absolute blessing to us. Best doggy ever!!

I found an abandoned pit mix puppy whose ears had been butchered by a non-professional docking by some oxygen thief waste of space. I found a wonderful local rescue that fostered him & found his forever home.
thankyou for rescueing this beautiful dog, who in turn has shown you devoted love back, bully breeds are scary looking but they are just 100% mush, our boy when we got him was just 12 weeks old picked up by the dog warden, him and his brother, for a puppy he had the biggest feet ive ever seen. Although his size and strength could easily flatten you into the wall, he has caught us all out and we know what a big useless lump he is but he just doesnt know how big and strong he is, he just wants people to pet him and in turn he was love cuddle and squash you while she gives you kisses, you need a towel when he stops. this video is perfect at introducing this beautiful breed, the dog had a hard start in life, people who dont know anything say you cant trust him, but look at him, even though he was treated bad, he does not show anything but love, thankyou for sharing your dog with us xx from my mutt to yours xxx

I rescued a senior pitty who had been badly treated. I almost cried when she finally accepted a treat without putting it down first to see if it was really for her. She DANCES around us, so I know she has finally learned trust!
