Harman Kardon hk770 / hk725 Demo After Restoration

The twenty second hk770 to come across my workbench this past couple of years; this time with it’s matching partner, the hk725 preamplifier. This “married couple” arrived with many issues unrelated to the restoration that was initially anticipated. From sagging power supplies, to shorted pre drivers. Once everything was sorted out, this set lived to play another day. This is a great example of how high performance audio can be achieved at a relatively small price.

Hi, I have a 725 hooked up to a 770; when i turn ON the 770, the red power light comes on, but none of the indicator LED's do not turn on. I purchased brand new RCA's just to be sure, but still no dice. I bought the pair from an ebay seller and he swears up and down that it "was working"....
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Nice set up. Love mine as well, clean. I have a different set up yet seems precisely the same. If get my drift. Mine needs cleaning LoL 😂 though. Great. Keep it ... Never sell it. I never will b selling mines either. Again completely powerful. PS I've over clocked mine and it keeps it's cool. Very durable. They don't make products like this much anymore

Any source no matter how perfect is completely affected by the playback device in this case a cell phone Matt I don’t know when I would use for reference for audio
