  • A grand tour along some very grand Glens. We went past Loch Lubnaig, then into Glen Ogle (and over the famous viaduct), then into Glen Dochart for a look at the Falls of Dochart, and night one we stayed at at Killin. Day two was along Glen Lochay and over into Loch Lyon (including a look at the Lebroich Dam. Finally, up we went again onto Rannoch Moor and to Loch Ossian, where we met our West Highland line from Corrour to Glasgow and home.

Not at all! Fill up in Callander and Killin. Not a lot else really.

That looked like a great ride. What was that large pipe at 2:30?

Hi Frazer, it’s the pipe known as a penstock containing very high pressure from a much higher lock in Glen Lyon and it tunnels through the hill. The water powers the turbines at Glen Lochay power station. Glad you asked! 😋
