Whoever had the idea to have G ask Ben constant questions is a perfect touch, Ben brain dumping while installing things is waaaayyyy better than just music over top of swearing
Benny, no wonder your moniker is 'Mechanical Stig'. I love learning from a genuine no bullshit mechanism no matter how smalk\large, out of the box\in the box, coplex\easy, those jobs may be. You always just get it done, get it done right and if it's not quite right, you're always humble enough to say my bad and fix it.
Hey Benny, if your ICC is coming up with the code input all the time, it will definitely be wasting battery as it constantly waits for the code input regardless of whether the car is turned on or off (the display normally turns off with the key, but the unit will continue to run until the code is entered). If you hold the MENU and AM buttons down you can normally disable the code input temporarily, but it will reactivate after 5 minutes. You can disable it by plugging into the OBD port with an adapter and using a scan tool program called ForScan (very handy for anything Ford related, we use it all the time in a professional environment) which will let you do an 'ACM Calibration' to remove the code input.
My fgx has a battery issue too. Goes flat if not started weekly and they seem to last only 18 months before I have to replace it. I was told that it is because I drive it only once or twice a fortnight. I owned it 5 years and I have replaced the battery twice. Thanks for another great tip Benny.
With the shoelaces if you are worrying about them coming undone, instead of doing a Double Knot, as you make that first loop go though again a second time and then you have a single pull out knot when you want to take them off, rather then having to fiddle with the tightness of the double knot.
Loop loop and granny knot. It's pretty easy to do and if you need extra safety just do another granny knot on top. (If you do them opposite to eachother they are easier to undo if they are really tight)
I wanted to ask you guys to please do a little my crap town of your area I love seeing other people’s places you don’t have to show where you live or anything
Trim origami / 40000 piwce puzzle sets are a ford thing maybe? To get the centre console side panel off a focus you gotta start at the freakin door pillar 🤣

Benny i love the commitment. and gian, never stop..
Hey, G's Falcon actually sounded pretty sweet on those rev ups at the end. Caught me a little off-guard there.
11:39 yep. The parts cannon is fired up for trucks too as the nox code doesn't provide AdBlue diagnosis. Training helps a lot there
Great work on the new year shop clean up Benny, I’m not worthy.

Ali express, universal steering wheel wrap that stitches on, that'll sort the steering wheel out
Battery drain is a ford thing. My focus does it. Not as quick as that tbf but still only lasts a couple days.
It’s all about displacement, an odd sized displaced engine will always sound better than an even sized one.
Faulty Power seat module can drain the battery. Power is live .

bolts and no lock washers? hopefully that's just temporary till you get studs and some locking exhaust nuts on there

All falcon center consoles break lol
